Nice light orange glow with a big white head that lasts and leaves nice chunky lacing. Notes of grapefruit rinds, green stuff and grapefruit piths. Lighter end of medium mouthfeel, good level of carnation and slightly drying bitter finish. This comes off more as an IPA and a rather one dimensional but easy drinking one.

Not super impressed. I wonder if the bottle I have isn't super fresh. No bottled date on it. Definitely missing any sort of hoppy aroma or "punch".

Appearance: pours a yellowish-orange color with a 1/4" head.

Smell: citrus is the dominant aroma coming from the glass.

Taste: mild caramel, grapefruit, mango, pear, and a decent hop bitterness.

Mouthfeel: medium bodied beer. Crisp from start to finish.

Overall: a nicely refreshing and easy to drink pale ale. Definitely focuses on the citrus side of things.

On tap @ Blue Monkey - NJ

Currently one of my top 3 favorite pale ales. Drinks like an IPA. Tons of citrus on the nose and palate. Grapefruit/grapefruit rind as well. Nice pop of dank bitterness. Some lingering bitterness afterwards on the palate but nothing overwhelming. A very tasty APA. Goes down super smooth for 7% too. An 85 BA score doesn't do it justice.

Looks great, smells decent, taste.. not too great. Tastes very slightly of citrus but flatlines quite quickly. Decent I suppose, but I'm not really a fan.

Had this on tap while on vacation in Michigan earlier this month. in fact, I think this was one of only two beers I had in 9 days that wasn't brewed locally. This is a very good west coast IPA -- very high citrus hop profile. Delicious.

Poured from bomber dated 7/28/15 into tulip glass. Appearance is a clear, deep orange with really nice lacing. Smell is very bright tropical with a hint of breadlines. This particular bottle goes down hill from appearance and smell. Hints of citrus is there but there's a bit of a metallic presence that is overpowering everything else to the point that it becomes a distraction. Moderately carbonated with a wet finish. Very well could be an oxidation problem with this. Definitely potential to be a solid beer without the off putting metallic taste going on. I will give this another go if I see it again. (Edited 8/30/15: same bottle date purchased at a different store. Still getting the metallic, copper like flavor.)
