Form the menu: "Our interpretation of a Czech Bohemian Pilsener, inspired by a trip to the Czech Republic by our brewer. Brewed with authentic Bohemian Pilsener malt made from the heirloom Hanka barley varietal and imported Czech Saaz hops. This beer has a spicy herbal Saaz hops aroma that follows through to the hop enhanced flavor, backed up by smooth malt flavor and a dry finish."
From 03/25/12 notes. Had on tap at the brewpub.
a - Pours clear, pale straw yellow color with two inches of fluffy white head and high carbonation evident.
s - Smells of grains, wheat, biscuit malts, bready malts, floral notes, light fruit, and light earthy notes. A tiny bit of citrus or fruit that makes it nice.
t - Tastes of grains, biscuit malts, bready malts, wheat, floral hops, hay, and earthy notes. Doesn't have that light citrus and a tiny bit of a step down for me.
m - Light body and moderate carbonation. Very light and crisp, an easy to drink pilsner.
o - Overall a pretty nice pilsner. Easy to drink and light and frefreshing, something I would give anough shot.

On tap at brewpub:
Pours a lovely yellow golden with no more than a chill haze. Head is visibly being sustained as a full-surface snow white covering.
Nose of noble hops, grassy to floral with a light dry bready sweetness.
Taste starts with a clean but nicely full burst of malt, flowers, and a bit of spice. Decently high level of carbonation adds to the spice. The sweeter biscuity malt gets consumed early by grassy bitterness though it fights to hold its own. A light metallic note near the end reminds me of some noble hops (but usually I get it in darker beers).
A nice beer, though not quite as light on the palate, though the decent bitter bite feeds the taste sensors. Unsurprisingly a well made classic style from Mad Fox.

Aa nice clean white head that dissipates quickly. Beer is a clear and pleasing pale gold look.
Nice strong, bitter, and herbal hop note. Light floral note that comes off as a bitter orange. Very sweet pale malt note that is very nice.
Body is a bit heavy for a pilsner but still light enough to drink in the summer.
Pretty good and interesting beer.
