Notes:
Collaboration with Amager Bryghus
This double IPA is a collaborative beer brewed by Shaun E. Hill of Hill Farmstead Brewery with Jacob Storm and Morten Lundsbak of Amager Bryghus (Denmark) at Hill Farmstead Brewery in Greensboro Bend, VT.
The name is inspired by one of Danish writer Hans Christian Anderson's travelogues; the beer represents a vivid but fleeting memory of a productive and wonderful visit by our Danish friends to Vermont's Northeast Kingdom.

I wish I knew how fresh it was but the 16.9 oz bottle did not have a date on it.

Pours in a clear, golden/amber colour with a three finger high, white head.
Nose: Orange marmelade, mandarine, butter, pine, grass, tropical fruit, citrus and wheat grain.
Taste: This is so good! Orange, mandarine, grapefruit, tropical fruit, sweet malt, grass and a great bitterness.
Body: Full body and a complex and yet fully balanced. Really good! Great/perfect bitterness and sweetness.
I think I could drink this beer all day long :)

Pour is a transparent golden amber with a bubbly white head. Nose is a more muted version of S&S 5. Tropical fruits and herbal grassy notes with notes of stale grain. Taste is a bit more bright, citrus and light pine. The grain and malt presence are cleaner and more balanced. Bitterness is low but present. Carbonation is stronger, body is light and soft.
