Poured from a bottle into a pint glass.

Appearance: Very light brown. Thin white head with no lacing on the glass.

Smell: Very off putting skunked smell.

Mouthfeel/Taste: Smooth light to medium bodied. Taste of bitter hoos and pine notes.

Overall. Excellent appearance, skunkes smell(it was fresh) was very off putting, but the taste was ok. Probably would not buy this one again.

12oz bottle. The levels of production obfuscation make my head spin with this particular product, so let's see about the proof in this here pudding, shall we?

This beer pours a hazy medium golden amber colour, with two fingers of foamy, puffy pale beige head, which leaves some nice, eerie bands of webbed lace around the glass as it quickly subsides.

It smells of bready, somewhat caramelized malt, stale grapefruit and orange pith hops, some musty unpleasantness, and a dead floral alcohol essence. The taste is bland, past its best bready malt, timid earthy, citrus-oriented fruit notes, and unbecoming herbal, perfumed essences.

The carbonation is quite timid, the body medium-light in weight, and generally smooth, I suppose, a more than slight cloying nature taking the reins of an already underwhelming smoothness. It finishes off-dry, the pithy malt not quite giving up the ghost, and nor do the seriously weak-ass hops.

A pale ale? Sure, I guess, but not at all in the crisp, hoppy American sense that we've been recently accustomed to. So what the hell is this? Somebody trying to cash in on the hard work of others who have pioneered a revolution in taste and style? Sure seems like it. My dark side has a message: Fuck off and die.

Clear amber colored beer with a small white colored head.

Smells of caramel and butter with just a little noble hop.

Starts out woody and a little woody. Caramel with a little sweetness. No real hop flavor.

Mouthfeel is watery.

Overall nothing to recommend it. Just a label looking to cash in on craft beer.

Picked up a six pack of this at the local grocery store and wish I hadn't. Serves me right for cheaping out...

Appearance - Light amberish. Fuzzy head dies down quick to almost nothing.

Smell - Very light scent. Hops, and not much of it, is about all I can smell.

Taste - Like a flavorful Bud. Vaguest of citrus notes.

Mouthfeel - Carbonation and a slightly unpleasant sticky film.

Overall - Disappointing for craft beer, but good for someone looking to take a baby step up from Coors, Corona, etc.

Small head that settles to a thin rim of bubbles on the glass edge. Couple of spots for lace. The liquid is dark gold and clear.

Strong caramel start. I like the floral hop on the edge of the nose.

The taste leans toward the English style of a Bitter Ale. Lots of caramel flavor with a sharp bittering hop in the swallow. Modest aftertaste but it is well balanced. Rich bodied but with a decent carbonation level.

Overall, I think this is a decent beer that reminds me of the initial beer (Watney's) that got me hooked on seeking good beer from around the world. While this could be considered a bit pedestrian for today's palate, it is very drinkable.

Poured from a bottle into a shaker pint, the beer is a bright, orange-gold coloring with lots of carbonation aand a frothy, clingy, bright white head. Aromas of biscuit, toffee, and floral hops. Flavors are smooth, with a toffee backbone and peppery hops at the end to cleanse the palate. Tangy sweet and slightly bitter into the aftertaste, with a thin, slightly crisp finish. Easy to drink, but there isn't much to it, either.

This is a well balanced pale ale provided by Roscoe's but the taste potential is limited.

Appearance: It pours a pale golden color with a sudsy off-white head and tiny bubbles through out.

Smell: faint with a light hop grapefruitiness and a little floweriness.

Tsate: fleeting grapefruit with malt on the other side of the teeter totter keeping it level and a dry finish.

This brew has potential but the lightness of everything distracts from the flaovrs hiding in there.

Into a pint glass:

A: brown/golden colored body that yielded a soft fizzy white one finger head that died within twenty seconds. No lacing was left and no carbonation was seen rising.

S: dominated by the hops with a slight grapefruit in the background. Some malts came out as the beer warmed.

T: centered around a balance of hops and malts.

M: medium, dry yet yielded a slightly creamy and wet aftertaste and finish. This was mostly drinkable.

O: the first time I had this I really liked it, but now that I came back to it, hmmm..., just average, that's all
