Consumed December 22nd, 2013 at Blue Palms Brewhouse, Hollywood, CA. 7.2% ABV according to the menu.

Cloudy, medium yellow with a tiny of orange. Kind of like a darker hefeweizen. No head to speak of, just a little crown of white foam clinging around the edges of the glass.

Almost no aroma. Slightly tart fruitiness with a powdery yeast base.

Flavor: Tart with fruit notes. Cherry? Soft, slight trace of Belgian yeast. Low bitterness. Simple, straightforward and very thirst-quenching. Alcohol well-hidden in flavor.

Unremarkable mouthfeel.

A winner from Mark at Craftsman. I'll drink this any time I see it.

Reviewed from notes. On tap at the Hermosillo for Woodshop 8.

A: Pours a yellowish orange with a thin (1/4") white head which fades quickly leaving a few spots of lace.

N: Fruity and floral with a mild oaky note.

T: Nice nectarine and peach center with more pit and skin then juice, mildly tart and astringent.

M: Semi-moderate body and light carbonation. Finishes fruity with peach and nectarine interwoven with the sour and oaky tartness.

O: Enjoyable. Well done and would have again.

On tap at Woodshop 8 held at The Hermosillo in Los Angeles, CA.

Billed as 2 year old foeder beer with 50 pounds of peaches and nectarines.

Pours a murky orange with a foamy bone head that settles to a film on top of the beer. Small dots of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is sour and tart with malt, peach, nectarine, and acidic aromas. Taste is much the same with slightly sour stone fruit and buttery flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of woody bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a good beer that has a nice peach and nectarine presence all around.
