On tap at Brickhouse.

A. Pours a clear pale gold with a small white head.

S. Aroma brings heady grapefruit pith, citric acid, leafy, pine.

T. Taste brings herbal notes, mint leaf, tangelo, oily resin, pineapple, dank finish.

M. Light-bodied with medium carbonation.

O: Riwakan is such a great hop. It manages to combine bright fruitiness with leafy herbalness, somewhat like Mosaic and Simcoe. Great beer.

Had in a shaker pint.

A copper-gold body is capped by a pencil's width worth of bone white foam. Nice sheet lacing as this offering is sipped down.

Classic and clean TG hop aromas: grassy, grapefruit rind, slight garlic / green onion dank, white pepper. Big aromas!

Flavors in this beer start out with a sweeter grapefruit and slightly peppery flavor. Mid-palate introduces the garlic dank flavor and some resin. There is a bright biscuit-y malt that flashes, before the end of the drink shows a good amount of resin and grass. Medium bitterness never overwhelms the palate.

Medium bodied and decent creaminess, with a light drying effect.

Riwakan Dead has one of my favorite hop profiles of any beer. The sweet citrus and slightly dank flavors mesh very well. And TG's signature touch ensures the flavors are bright, clean, and distinct. This beer is incredibly enjoyable. So happy to find this on tap!

Clark shared this with me at Darkness day and this is one of the beers that got me to notice TG. An incredibly fruity and tropical pale with a nice amount of bitterness
