I bought this thinking it was just a big bottle of regular Psuedo Sue. The big bottles are all made in Decorah instead of the toller's place in Florida for the cans. I drank this and said "Wow, some really good stuff" Then I looked at it and saw mosaic hops. Ah, it is different.

It poured a nice fluffy head and some of the best lacing on earth. Nose is nice with some citrus and just lots of hints.
Taste was so nice and smooth. Great hop balance. Possibly the best I have had. Creamy finish and mouth feel makes this an incredible, enjoyable brew. I won't let this one go by when they make it. Top shelf and more.

Pours a hazy opaque golden color. Thick white head dissipates slowly leaving a thin layer of white foam and some rings of sticky white lacing on the glass.

Aroma has notes of peach, pine, strong grass and some dank herbal notes.

Taste is more of the same with lots of dank grass followed by sweet peach and mango. Some cantaloupe and honeydew notes are also noted before giving way to a somewhat grassy herbal bitter finish.

Feel is light, lively and supremely drinkable. Moderate carbonation.

All around this was a fantastic Pseudo Sue variant. The mosaic is so good in this and compliments the base beer incredibly well.

Bottled 12/24/17(the last digit was hard to read, 24 is my best guess). Poured like a beer advertisement. Medium yellow hue with big fluffy head. Smells like tropical fruit rinds. Tastes similar to some of those NEIPAs everyone clamors about. Good amounts of tropical fruit with a slight bitterness that never comes to the forefront because of the malt sweetness. Very well balanced, I could crush these all day long. Loved it.

Bottle on 3/23/17. Served from 22 oz. bottle into glass. Pours deep gold in color, medium clarity with vibrant white head. Huge complex hop aroma, mostly fruit; berry, mango, peach, with bubblegum and a hint pine. The fruit aroma isn't extremely citrusy but more savory and slightly earthy. Flavor is again hugely hoppy, peach and mango are even more prominent. Slightly citrus aftertaste. Very little malt character is detectable. Medium hop bitterness and a slightly dry finish. Medium body, smooth, and medium carbonation. Overall this beer is a fruity hop bomb. The aroma is complex and intriguing, full of depth and nuance. Drinking it is like taking a bite of a fresh juicy peach. The full body, mild bitterness and dry finish makes it supremely drinkable. A great expression of Mosaic hops and an overall great beer.

Light gold to straw yellow and fairly hazy. There's an inch of creamy light beige on top. The aroma is of earthy mosaic hops. I'm tasting those same earthy to lightly vegetal hops along with plenty of light malt. There's just enough of a bitter hop bite to encourage that next sip and do it all over again. The mouth is pretty light and crisp. Highly quaffable and yet with plenty of hop flavor and aroma.

Poured from a 22 oz. bottle into a chalice.

Appearance: Pours a bright amber orange with a moderate amount of bubbles. Solid finger of white head that settles into a thin creamy layer.

Smell: A very juicy and dank hop driven aroma with a scent of citrus fruit and pine. Big upfront scent of tropical fruit with some grapefruit, orange peel, mango, lemon, papaya, pineapple, passion fruit, and berries. Earthy hop hints of pine resin, grass, and cannabis. Light malt hints of caramel, grains, and cracker. A really great juicy aroma.

Taste: Like it smells, a really juicy and earthy hop forward taste with notes of citrus fruit and pine resin. Huge upfront juicy tropical fruit presence with notes of orange peel, grapefruit, mango, lemon, pineapple, papaya, passion fruit, and berries. Earthy hop notes of pine resin along with grass. Background pale malt notes of caramel, cracker, and grains. A really good taste.

Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with a moderate amount of carbonation. Very juicy, drying, and fairly oily.

Overall: Another great version of Sue. Great mix of tropical and piney hop flavor.

The beer pours out a golden orange color, with a medium haze and 1 finger of bright white head------------ the aromas are of over ripe tropical fruit like pineapple, papaya, guava and orange zest------------- the flavors are of orange juice, orange zest and orange cream with lesser pine and grapefruit, the beer has a full mouthfeel with a moderate pithy bitterness on the finish------------- overall this beer was amazing so much better than the original, I did not get a whole lot of mosaic hop profiles I feel the citra hops shined even more--

I purchased a bomber of the co-marketing effort with the Field Museum.
A - Pours a clear golden color with a small foamy head.
S - Aroma is a light grapefruit.
T - Grapefruit flavor is somewhat mild, and bitterness on finish is mild as well.
M - Medium mouth feel and carbonation.
O - I'm normally not a pale ale fan, but this is a good one. Not quite as good as the citra version, but still very good and drinkable. And I still prefer the bottles to the cans.
