-a turgid yellow-orange can pour with a thin foam cap that dissipates immediately and an aroma of grapefruit and kiwi.
The flavor is full with lemon, grapefruit zest, and peach as prominent flavors.
The mouthfeel is quite smooth.
This is really tasty.

It's nice - a grapefruit and peach fruit smoothie of a beer, but drinks lean and clean - a classy profile - it'd be hard to take a pass on this one, fans of NEIPAs in particular... And overall, a really good beer for BAs of all style preferences - very representative of the style at its best...

Modest half a finger head of just off white foam, settles into a thin if solid surface coating, wispy lacing at best. Bright yellow liquid, fully hazy and opaque, able to see bubbles rise as they press against the glass. Sweet mixed citrus, mint and tropical guava, mango, pineapple fruit dominate the nose, challah bread to scone notes, there’s tarry dankness but in subordinate proportion to the fruit, overall very good pungency. Medium-bodied, dry with a tacky mouth feel. Here things flipped on their head with the marijuana-esque dankness superior to all else. Still, no lack of tangerine to pink grapefruit citrus nor that pine to sort of minty aspect. More floral here and the tropical fruit is flavorful without turning sugary. Finish is fairly clean. For a 16 ounce can I could probably do two in a row, drinkability is good but it’s not crushable. Would buy again if I didn’t always buy something I never tried before. (Canned 3/5/21)

Can to snifter.

LOOK: milky hazy, light yellow color, healthy off white head.

AROMA: low strength of aroma. mostly citrus is what I get.
TASTE: lime rind, grapefruit, melon, grass, mildly sweet upfront while a bit overly tart in the finish.

FEEL: medium body, juicy (almost gelatinous) and creamy feel, very smooth with a slight dryness in the finish.

Not bad, but nothing special.

look: pale yellow hazy liquid, similar to orange juice, just a standard neipa look

smell: big mango and honeydew omg

taste: not as good as smells, mostly grapefruit, and some peach

feel: it might be a little too bitter,

overall: the freshness and tropical fruitiness falls short, and not so balanced, otherwise it could be just another master piece from TG, however nonetheless it is still a great beer that I don't mind keep drinking, cheers!

16oz can into a pint glass. Canned 3/5/21, so 7 weeks old.

Looks very good in the glass. Dull pale orange/pear juice colored body. Small white head shrinks to a ring and covering, leaving light scattered lacing.

Aroma lightly fruity and a little dank.

On tasting, getting some tropical fruit. It's a little dry, and a bit dank. All these merge together quite well. Faint bitterness. Well balanced.

Mouth closer to full than medium, finish a lightly juicy dry black pepper.

Overall, another very good beer from Toppling Goliath. A lot of their beers have a similar profile, but it's a damn good one.

16oz can from Tavour. Murky yellow pour with a patches of white bubbles. Looks a lot like grapefruit juice. Aroma features subbdued ciiturs, floral and grassy notes, some light piney hops, all in harmony with each other. Taste starts with a little citrus, adding white grapes, light hops, fruity flavors. Juicy feel, zesty bitter bite. Really drinkable, with tons of flavor cuttign across many styles. Nice!

I tried this beer at the brewery. It poured a hazy yellow with white head and that left some lace. The scent had tropical fruit peel notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with tropical citrus presence and a nice fruit peel spice highlight. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a solid beer.

My new fave NEIPA from TG. I found this better than their other dinosaur blends, which are good themselves. Seek this one out, you won't be disappointed.

Pours an opaque color of grapefruit juice with a half finger of head. The nose is straight-up grapefruits. The flavor profile is a complex blend of grapefruit, lemon and dry white wine. The finish is solidly pithy and bitter. The body is a bit too light and detracts from the overall experience a bit.

Pours an opaque orange-gold. Decent head. Limited retention. Slight lacing.

Aromas of orange, mango, guava, and grapefruit.

The flavors follow the nose pretty closely, ,with a bit less sweetness. Grapefruit forward, with hints of other citrus. White pepper and more grapefruit trending to grass in midstream. Resin, grass, and hints of alcohol at the close.

Down-the-middle medium bodied and pretty drinkable for the style.

A simple but solid NEIPA from TG. Nice to have a simple NEIPA that isn't hiding booze and juice. Not complex, but still tasty.

First time I’ve seen this one in a 4-pack. Packaged 8 days ago, so grateful to live close to this brewery.

Super hazy, decent head but only fair retention, has all the looks of pineapple juice. Smell is dank, catty, has notes of galangal, not super tropical, the Nelson dominates over the Mosaic here I’d say. And I love Nelson Sauvin. Flavor is right in line with the aroma, plenty of dank piny bitterness to balance the sweetness. Mouthfeel is creamy but a bit flat unfortunately. Not undercarbonated, but just feels one dimensional. I am having a hard time describing the sensation, I just feel mostly disappointed with this part of the beer. But the bitterness is spot on where I want it...hybridized West Coast and NE with the bitterness. Overall a very good beer that is just a touch worse than Zeelander. But way better than your run of the mill NEIPA.

Pours a hazed gold with one finger of cream colored head. Above average head retention & slightly better lacing

S: Passion Fruit, mango & orange peel, fades just a little as it warmed

T: Follows the nose, bready dryness & little grapefruit up front. Passion fruit & orange as this warms along with pine & dryness, plus a little pink grapefruit

MF: Medium body, subdued carbonation, stellar balance

Drinks like a dream, would love to see this in a 4 or 6 pack format, well done TG!

MoZee pours a hazy brighter copper color, with a huge, long lasting and lacing head. Citrus aroma; fruity and sweet. Flavor has a subtle hop flavor, lots of creamy citrus. Nice thick body, great flavors. Overall, fantastic, big flavors, easy to drink great feel, on the sweeter side, but not too sweet.

L-hazy golden color with nice foamy white head that slowly fades
S-citrus heaven, pineapple and grapefruit!

F-great all round feel to the mouth, some bubbles make it in too. Great refreshing brew from TG!

L — Pours a hazy muted orange body with 1.5 fingers of soapy white head produced with aerated pour. Some retention and good lacing
S — Yellow grapefruit, dank mustiness, kiwi, tire rubber, mango, orange sorbet, lime zest, peach
T — Oily/rindy citrus hop goodness, earthen woodsiness, green mango, garden herbs, white grape
F — Crisp, easy drinking, and clean. Has that nice oily finish that many of TG’s hoppy offerings have alongside that nice low bitterness. Medium mouthfeel, medium+ carb. Just a little watery around the edges
O — Another pricey yet tasty bomber from TG. Unexpectedly interesting and engaging hop combo

Poured from 22 oz bottle into shaker pint glass. Bottle on 11/19/18. Fresh beer!
A: Nice cloudy orange-yellow hue with 2 inch bubbly white head. Excellent retention.
S: Soft citrus (tangerine, lemon, orange), melon, minty herbal note, and hint of white pepper.
T: Follows aroma fairly closely...soft citrus (tangerine, grapefruit, orange), dry herbal bite, white pepper, and a hint of melon around the edges.
M: Light body. Mildly chewy. Mild citrus sweetness with a stronger hop astringency and bitterness. Lingers nicely on the palate.
D: A solid example of style. Even though it is not up there with some of their stratospheric offerings, any IPA from TG is worth a go.

From a month-old bomber into a tulip. Pours a dense and hazy peachy apricot with a good head and decent retention and lacing. Nose is huge and layered tropical and flowery and earthy hoppiness at first, then a touch of piney zip, with some soft breadiness in there too...fantastic. Taste follows the nose, all the same notes but not quite as layered. Mouthful is great...nice and substantial, soft, but also a little zippy liveliness. This is up there with the better hits all the style markers but throws in a little hoppy bite that works just right for me.

This is an amazing beer, despite drinking a 3-month old bottle. Hazy and thick, with an amazing fruity (apricot, mango, grape, peaches, melon, citrus) and piney aroma and flavor. Mild carbonation and a lingering bitter aftertaste that makes you want to drink more. A very complex yet a very drinkable ale.

Type: 22-oz. bottle
Glass: Clear 16.5-oz. Belgian ale tulip
From: Bine & Vine Bottle Shop in Normal Heights (San Diego), Calif.
Price: $7.99
Purchased: Feb. 23, 2018
Consumed: Feb. 23, 2018
Reviewed as: American IPA
Misc.: Bottled on Jan. 22, 2018

Had recently seen this somewhere, probably on the email list from Bine & Vine. Stopped by after dinner at Blind Lady Ale House and started to walk out, but then asked the worker if there was some Toppling Goliath beer called Mosaic something. We narrowed it down to this and I picked up a bottle. Description I found read, “MoZee harmonizes two of our favorite hops in a unique and explosive way. Nelson Sauvin hop provides white wine-esque notes with grapefruit and kiwi flavor; this pairs together with the Mosaic hop’s flavor of mango and pineapple. These hops were meant for each other, and this beer is meant for you.” Not the biggest Nelson fan, but one of the biggest Mosaic fans. Should be interesting.

Poured a pale-to-gold hazy color with 3-to-4 fingers of rocky white head. Lots of slow moving thin bubbles on the sides of the glass. World-class foamy layered lacing. Almost perfect foamy retention. (Sight - 4.50)

Smell was pretty damn good from the get-go. Big whiffs of Mosaic, Nelson, floral, mango, pineapple, grapefruit, dish soap, orange blossom, orange sherbet, nectarine, peach, tangerine, some unknown peppery spice, papaya and hints of white grape. More tropical notes from the bottle with guava, papaya, pineapple and mango really dominating. (Smell - 4.25)

Taste wasn’t quite as good as the nose overall. Lots of tropical notes though. Got papaya, guava, pineapple, mango, grapefruit, nectarine, peach, Nelson, tangerine, orange sherbet, Mosaic, floral, bitter citrus rind, pepper spice and white grape. (Taste - 4.00)

Medium body. Creamy texture. Lively carbonation. Dry, bitter finish. (Feel - 3.75)

This was a really good IPA. Was wavering the taste between 4.00 and 4.25 and the overall between 4.00 and 4.25. (Overall - 4.25)
