Pours with an aggressive very white head. Took a bit to wait for it to settle down. Pale yellow body and quite cloudy to pulpy OJ looking. Very nice citrus, tropical fruit hop aroma. Even a little sweet. No particular resin quality.
Smooth with an orange juice quality with a hit to two of sweetness before a nicely soft bitterness balances it all off. The sweetness was less evident as I worked through the drink but it sure was nice early on. More tartness with the bitterness in time. Soft feel with moderate body. Almost fluffy at times. Intensity of flavor seems to fade in time. That might be a hoppy beer thing. Seems to drink easily. Good easy drinker with some interesting flavors.

Straight up pineapple flavors. Way more tropical than any "tropical" beer I have ever had. Personally I want a bit of orange in this to help balance the pineapple, but still very good.

Very hazy on the pour. Decent carbonation. Mosaic hops, citrus and some hay on the nose. The taste has some really nice flavors with the hops, citrus, floral, and dry earthy tones on he finish. Feel is dry and thin on the end which was nice with the flavor combo but could use some beefing up.

Appearance – Two finger persistent head on a very hazy deep yellow body.

Aroma – Mango, pineapple, orange juice, and citrus pith.

Taste – Strongly bitter grapefruit peel, hop resins, citrus, mango, underripe pineapple.

Mouthfeel – Creamy like an Orange Julius.

Overall – A very, very good beer, worth the price.

This pours a creamy and vivid looking hazy orange, with a tight white head, and lots of lacing.

This has a nice representation of Mosaic on the nose, with juicy blueberry, mango, and grapefruit, with some piney hop character and a bit of weed.

This is one of the better uses of Mosaic I've had in a while- it's soft and juicy, with the typical candied blueberry thing thing, a bit of creamy mango, grapefruit pith and piney bitterness. It has the balance of sweet and bitter in IPAs that I typically crave.

This is medium bodied, creamy and super drinkable, with a normal level of carbonation.

This is just a straightforward delicious NE-style IPA, nothing more, nothing less.

Drank from a 22 fl oz (1 pint 6 fl oz) bottle purchased at Craft Beer Cellar, Belmont, MA
Bottled on 2/27/18
Served in a tulip

Completely opaque, straw yellow appearance. The body was capped by a frothy, finger-tall, bright white crown that quickly dropped to a thin collar. Craggily streaks of lacing stuck all along the glass.

The aroma was really hoppy and well rounded. Super fruity. Tropical and stone fruit notes came through strongest. Big mango presence. Lots of peach too. Juicy orange notes were also apparent. There was a fairly punchy weed-like dankness as well.

Citrus notes dominated in the flavor profile. Loads of tart, tangy clementine and tangerine. Juicy orange notes also came through strong. Somewhat peachy as well. Crisp, tart and lemony in the center. Bit of underripe pineapple. Big, pithy, white grapefruit notes appeared as the liquid moved along the palate, as did a strong, chalky yeast presence. The finish was intensely pithy and bitter and contained potent grapefruit rind-like notes. A subtle piney, resiny quality was also detectable.

Nice fluffy, medium bodied mouthfeel. Creamy and smooth on the palate. The liquid contained a fine, zippy, tongue coating effervescence.

Mosaic Dry Hop Golden Nugget is an enjoyable IPA with a terrific fruity and dank aroma and a flavor profile that started out similarly but turned super pithy and bitter on the finish. Perhaps if this beer were filtered (at least partially), some of the hoppy bitterness and chalky yeastiness would subside.

A - Super opaque, light orange with a shadow cast, white head, full and fat, with a light orange cast and while it fades some, it persists with a thick rocky cap, and lacing which is both thick and ropy.

S - Superb nose full of mango and peach, old school orange juice, and a undercurrent of grapefruit and zest. Holy cow, what a nose.

T - And what a taste! Delicious full fruit range, lots of stone fruit and citrus, a strong grapefruit bite, and a tart finish with bitter pith undercurrents that lingers. What a great juicy experience.

M - Pillowy softness, a bit of dryness, and definite resin residue that lingers on the tongue.

O - This is a phenomenal beer. It defies easy categorization, but whatever inspires it, this is a delicious beer out of NE Iowa!

Pours pale hazy orange with a beautiful white head with fair retention and lacing

Pineapple, mango, orange, pungent and earthy

Tangy, good bitterness, mango. Pineapple grapefruit and some lemon.
Nice balance of hops and malt.

Medium body, creamy, medium carbonation

For me, fantastic beer, not the best of the best, but a top shelf beer.

22 oz. bomber that theoretically has a late December date on it that I can’t see. But I’m old. I can barely see my big print computer screen. Split with my wife. At least I hope that’s my wife.

The pour is NE IPA cool before NE was cool, or some such nonsense Opaque orange. Smells like every yellow & orange fruit in the world was dropped into a horse-sized blender. Nice.

Nugmo is so dry my asshole is puckering. The tropical fruitiness is overwhelming & unique in a weird way, like there was some fruit with a spiky outside picked from the Lord of the Flies island & dunked in the beer. The dankness is complementary rather than off-putting, hardened pine sap, pineapple, peach. Dry dry dry. Nice to be able to drink plenty of this. I’d take my wife’s half, too. That’s my wife, right?

This is what happens when T.G. is on their game. Excellent beer.

Thanks to Jeff for this one. 22oz. capped bomber into a Surly teku. Shared with schen9303.

The look of these IPAs from TG really can't be beat. Nose is citrus and grapefruit. A nice balance of tropical fruit and a biting but clean hop bitterness. Beer opens pine, grass and grapefruit. Hop oils are bright and upfront in this one, creating a citrus and grapefruit rind bitterness followed by waves of grassiness. Fantastic balance. Body is light to medium with moderate carbonation. Super smooth going down with a dryness on the finish. Real drinkable.

A pretty impressive beer even though Mosaic isn't my favorite hop varietal. Just real solid all the way around.

Thought this was a great variant of an all ready good beer. It is hard to go wrong with mosaic hops and the addition seemed to add some excellent flavor to the beer. Has the same ipa feel of the regular golden nugget with that good earthy kind of floral mosaic hopiness. Would buy again for sure if it came back out.

Beer has usual Golden Nugget label - date stamp indicates that it is dry hopped with mosaic. Look for date stamp to determine if beer is dry hopped o not.

On tap at Dexter's in Madison, Wisconsin. 12oz served in a snifter glass. Pours a light hazy yellow body, orange hue, one finger white head, short retention, bits of lacing. Smells of all the mosaic goodness that SueMo had; a bit more of a citrus and pine in comparison, but it doesn't smell all that different. Flavour is more of a generic citrus and pine hop aroma, light-moderate bitterness, cereal grain, caramel sweetness. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, good carbonation, fairly creamy with a light non-descript bitterness on the backend. A solid dryhopped beer, nose is improved on the base but that's about it.

Bottled 7/22/16. Pours a hazy amber color with a big ivory head and plenty of lacing on the glass. Smell is big on this beer, I could smell it from four feet away. I get pineapple, citrus and pine on the nose. Taste is more subdued than the smell, but is a nice balance between sweet, citrusy flavors and the more bitter elements of the hops. Mouthfeel is silky smooth like nearly all TG IPAs I've had and is becoming the standard by which I judge other IPAs. Overall this is a nice take on an already good beer.

Pours a hazy, pale yellow with a thin, white head.
A wonderful, sweet citrus hop smell. Bitter pine rain and malt smell as well.
The taste does not disappoint. Great citrus hop taste up front, with great pine resin with the backing of a good amount of malt. A crisp mouthfeel that gives some funk.

Serving: Bomber into snifter
Served: 9 July 2016

Appearance: Pours a hazy orange-brown with a pearly white head. Left appreciable lacing.

Smell: Bright citrus and fruity hops- passion fruit, grapefruit, mandarin, and pomelo. Definitely plenty of musty dankness on the nose too.

Taste: Sweet malts, nothing too special. Hop flavors of course dominate. Bright citrus right up front but then pervasive and persevering musty, damp, dankness on the back end. Not a huge mosaic fan, though I feel like these worked well enough.

Mouthfeel: Bigger body than I would have expected for 6%, though it works nicely here.

Overall: Not a huge fan of musty hops, though this was still a well done beer.

This beer pours a medium orange with a perfectly proportioned head. The aroma offers up guava, dried mango, grapefruit, pine, raspberry, and a grassy, oniony hiny. The flavor starts very tropical, with pineapple and mango, then grapefruit, guava, as well as the grassy, oniony notes I expect with mosaic/ The bitterness is present enough to combat he fruity sweetness. The mouthfeel is medium bodied. Overall this is a solid beer, lots of complex and fun hop notes.

Smell is citrus, tropical fruit - passionfruit, pineapple, sweet malt, and a hint of melon. Taste is pine, orange citrus, pineapple, and a hint of guava. A well put-together IPA but I thought I would like it more given the Mosaic hopping.

A little dank for TG, but still fruity and tropical. A lot orange and melon. Floral hops. A little stickiness and resin. Some bitterness.

L- Opaque amber, just enough head, decent lacing.

S- Fruity. Melon, mango and some grapefruit. Piney hops.

T- Fruitiness is less pronounced in the taste. Smooth, a little dank hops. Just the right amount of bitterness.

F- Fairly thin. Good amount of carbonation.

O- A tasty, refreshing IPA that can hang with some of the better ones that I've tried.
