Bottled 3/31/17. Medium gold body, opaque with haze under a bright white head that left plenty of lace sheeting behind. Grapefruit comes across big - like someone ripped the fruit open and the juice sprayed in the air over a bed of flowers in wet, dark soil. Bright and fresh zesty aromas were followed by more grapefruity impressions on the sip. The drink had at once a drying quality, something dank and earthy, and the distinct powdery sweet-tart vibe that I associate with lupulin powder and double dry hopping... The feel is tingly and light, with big bitterness enveloping the tongue, and the aforementioned drying coming through on the finish. A real grand slam, possibly the best APA I've ever had.

Pours a perfect golden orange. This is just how I like them. Big citrusy hop bombs with a nice crisp bitter hop bite. A little pine, but not so much it overdrys your mouth after. This XHOPS series has been fantastic.
