Pours hazy, orange in color with one inch head. Taste is apricot, orange zest, and hay. Medium bodied, slightly bitter with moderate carbonation. Makes for a juicy and enjoyable pale that I wpuld get often if it were local.

A-Poured into a pint glass half finger of cream foam atop a very hazy ruddy yellow brew.
S-A subdued hop with a noticeable sweet aroma. A bit non-descript. A fair amount of grainy malt character pops out.
T-Sweet brew. Hops seem floral. A bit of fruitiness-mango. Pine/hop resin in the finish. Malt substantial.
M-Nice body on this pale ale. It's a bit chewy. Slight to moderate bitter finish. Decent carb bite.
O-I'm having a hard time putting my finger on this beer. A bit unusual. The hops are floral, piney and not very aromatic. Not one of my favorite beers from TG. I can do better for $10 for 22 oz.

Poured from a 22 oz. bottle into a chalice.

Appearance: Pours a hazy golden orange. Moderate amount of bubbles and a solid finger of off white head that settles into a thin patchy layer.

Smell: A very juicy and dank hop driven aroma with a scent of tropical fruit and pine resin. Big upfront scent of citrus hops with some orange peel, grapefruit, melon, lemon, and tangerine along with some pineapple and berries. Earthy hop scent of pine resin and grass. Background malt hints of caramel, grains, and cracker along with yeast. A really good juicy aroma.

Taste: Like it smells, a juicy and piney hop dominated taste with notes of tropical fruit and pine resin. Ripe and juicy upfront hop presence with notes of orange peel, melon, grapefruit, tangerine, and lemon zest along with some pineapple and berries. Earthy hop notes of pine resin and grass. Background malt notes of caramel, cracker, and grains along with some yeast. A very good taste.

Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with a moderate amount of carbonation. Juicy, oily, and drying.

Overall: Another great hop bomb in the X - Hop series. Big tropical fruit and pine notes with a moderate body.

Thanks to Jeff for this one. 22oz. bomber into a Surly teku.

Surprisingly hazy considering the brewery and where its made. Nose is citrus and starfruit. Juicy and sweet with nice tropical fruit aromas. Beer opens grapefruit, starfruit and other tropical citrus fruits. Light tartness in the middle with just a prick of hop bitterness at the end reminiscent of citrus peel. A touch of waxy bitterness in the aftertaste. Super drinkable and light bodied with ample carbonation. Dry on the finish.

Very solid. This is a session beer I'd love to hang with for a while.

On tap at the brewery. Murky orange. Smells fruity. Some citrus, grape, maybe melon. Tastes of orange peel, melon and grape. A touch of sweetness. Low bitterness with a grape juice finish. Medium body. Another delicious pale ale from TG.

Pours a hazy golden yellow orange with a two finger head of white foam.

Mango, pineapple, and citrus fruits dominate the aroma.

Citrus fruit comes out more in flavor while the tropical fruit notes seem muted, a smidge of grassy dankness finishes the swallow.

Medium-bodied, medium carbonation, juicy upfront, and bitter dry finish.

Overall, this brew has a fantastic aroma, but falls short on flavor and the bitter and dry finish doesn't do the juicy tropical fruit notes justice.

Heavy haze, downright murky golden color. A finger of head forms and moderate amount of lacing is left down the glass. Aroma of pine, hay, citrus, and a bit of tropical fruit. Not dank. Flavor of grapefruit, pineapple, and a earthy, grassy note. Malt adds some sweetness but not much flavor. Bitterness is moderate. The heft of body belies the ABV. Nice carbonation. Nice hoppy beer but I do not think brings anything new to the pale ale realm.

L: pale orange with a small white head
S: big citrus...oranges, apricots, peaches
T: just like the nose with big apricots. There is a nice sweet and bitter balance
F: highly carbonated, medium thickness and easy drinking with a slight bitter finish.
