This double dry hopped pale ale was crafted with a perfect mixture of millennium hops and Falconer’s Flight blend. Orange aromas and hints of lemon make up this medium-bodied brew.

Looks great with perfect pillowy head. Lovely citrus aroma. Flavor is citrusy too with a cracker malt finish. Finish is perfectly dry too. Perfect mix of low-bitterness hazy IPA and dry finish. Love it.

Too bitter and dry for my hazy-liking palate, as shame and TG line-up is on my good list

A: Hazy orange with light brassy tones around the edges. Solid foam capping atop, bone white in color, standing two inches, is very resilient to collapse. There is a heavy dense sense of rushing macro-bubbles making for a vibrant, juicy, and exciting appeal. Solid appearance per style with a final curtain call of descending rings down the vessel for lace decoration.

S: Mixture of cantaloupe, green melon and peaches open the nose, very wet and generous in nature. Semi-dry tropical notes of pineapple, and sugary grapefruit quench the nostrils. High whirlpool and wet aroma, typical of brewery.

T: Juicy tart grapefruit and citrus open the flavor, the dry hop nature hits you from the get-go. Dank tropical pineapple and peach add spice while a flowery bite of piney resins follows. Some old school occurrences of grassy dry hops make an appearance, along with some tart oranges, to go against the barley and hay backed flavors of the malt that linger on the tongue there-after.

M: Juicy dank mouthful, lots of slick and thick resins compose a heavy body with a sharp bite of grapefruit twang on the tongue and inner cheeks.

O: A juicy and dank bite of hop resins and a dry tropical flowery bitterness combine to give you another can't miss IPA from this brewery. A pale ale that drinks light years ahead of its style, is exceptionally hoppy and big, filled with juicy alcohol hop resins lends to its outstanding qualities. Drinks much bigger then its advertised 5.8%. Great drinking.

Deep gold with a ton of suspended white particles; cloudy but clear enough to see the snow globe; white head; ok cap retention; heavy ring, medium minus soapy lace. Lemon peel and orange nose. Lemon and orange; very little bitterness; semi sweet malt base; orange drink kinda finish. Light almost watery body; moderate streaming carbonation; no astringency. Overall easy to drink, light and poundable on a hot day; could do without all the floaties.

Picked this up at Windmill Farms while looking for some good ones for Nick and Mark. Toppling Goliath’s website called this, “It’s bitterness flies under the radar as hops create hits of lemon and orange aromas. Double Dry Hop Light Speed is a medium-bodied pale ale that is out of this world.” Mentioned hops were Simcoe,
Amarillo, Ekuanot, Citra and Mosaic.” I’m usually not a big fan of more than three hops in a beer, but I like each of these ones.

Poured a light amber clear color with three fingers of rocky white head. Plenty of bubble streams coming up along the sides of the glass with a what looked like to be a ton of pulp floating around as well. It really looked like a snow globe underneath the head. Perfect uneven foamy lacing. World-class retention. (Sight - 4.75)

For the mentioned hops got Ekuanot, Amarillo and Simcoe on the nose, and maybe a touch of Citra. Other flavors I got were orange peel, tangerine, green pepper, herbal, pine, lemon, cough drop, papaya, mixed berry, floral and earthy caramel malt. A little better out of the can. Fairly malty on the nose overall. (Smell - 4.00)

Tasted better than the smell. Very bitter. In order got bitter orange peel, tangerine, aspirin, pine, green pepper, herbal, lemon, cough drop, papaya, red grapefruit rind, lime, mixed berry, earthy malt and sweet caramel. For mentioned hops, in order got Amarillo, Ekuanot and Simcoe, followed by light Citra and Mosaic. (Taste - 4.00)

Medium body. Oily-to-creamy texture. Lively carbonation. Long, bitter finish. (Feel - 4.25)

This was outstanding overall. (Overall - 4.00)
