Raise a glass of Oktoberfest in celebration, and watch as the light dances off its rich amber color. Enjoy a beautiful bouquet of soft caramel and biscuit before the first sip blankets your palate with malty notes of fresh-baked bread.

From the 12 oz can in a snifter. This solid little marzen pours a clear
medium dark amber with a nice head of white foam that settles to a
thick ring, thin dusty layer, and sports some nice light lacing. Nose of
biscuit, honey, caramel, light herbal hops, and light grain notes. Flavors follow
the nose with aplomb with nice balanced notes of caramel, biscuit, light peach,
herbal / grassy hops, light grains, and crust. Mouthfeel is medium, medium
light carbonation, smooth, and finishing lightly grainy and nicely balanced.
Overall, a SOLID marzen!
Cheers

Nearly clear dark amber brew with abundant foam in the tall Weizen glass. Pleasant aroma of malt and straw. Spritzy and a malty body. Quite sweet and simple taste. Just a whiff of leafy hops and a bit of green tea in the finish. A candy-like note with caramel and some astringency in the aftertaste. This is perfectly drinkable but seems a bit dull in taste compared to so many other Oktoberfest-inspired brews. From the 16 oz can purchased on the West Coast. Dated 07/11/23.

Poured from a sixteen ounce aluminum can, this brew is a lightly hazy amber color with a white head. Light malt smell…not a rich as many examples of the style, but it is still nice. Slight sweetness in the taste, with malt undertones and just enough hops for balance. Full body and drinkable.

The pour is amber colored with a fair amount of carbonation. The taste is brown bread crust, herbal, grains, & honey dipped baked biscuists. Cheers! B

16oz can into a pint glass. Canned 7/11/23, so 3 months old.
Nice look, pale for a Marzen. Persistent head and decent lacing. Fairly neutral aroma. Good clean taste, light on the caramel, good biscuit flavor. Finish is malty with a wisp of hop. My kind of Marzen, heading towards festbier territory.

On tap at International Tap House. Poured out a clear, golden amber color with a small, tan head of foam. It left some thin lacing. It smelled of roasted malt, toffee, caramel and floral notes. Sweet caramel, toffee and a mild bitterness.

Poured from a can into a pint glass. Pours red orange with a small white head. Smells of bright fruit and caramelized grain. Tastes of fresh bright fruit and caramelized grain. Beer is light bodied and easy drinking, good carbonation. Overall, a very good beer.

Appearance - cloudy copper/amber body with white head
Smell - nutty, apple
Taste - apple, toasted toffee
Mouthfeel - medium bodied, medium carbonation, slightly sour upfront, in the middle and the finish is a bit unrefined and unclean
Overall - this beer is a disappointment, even for an Ami version of a marzen, this was short of expectation, the flavors are sour and unrefined, that along with the unclean finish, aren't representative stylistically of what I've come to expect from the category. I would not re-visit this beer.
Price Point - $3/16 oz can

Poured from a freshness dated 16 oz. can: very attractive, deep golden to amber with a quickly receding white head.
The aroma was typical of an Oktoberfest beer as there was not much going on: perhaps, faint bready aromas.
Initially sweet and tangy with a nice balance of hops to keep refreshing, sip after sip, and with a low ABV, you could quaff several of these. This is my favorite domestic Oktoberfest of my early season of experimentation.
