I think Lagers by their nature have a ceiling with which you can only rank them so high. They are designed to be easy drinking beers for the masses. (or at least that is my perception of them) I will always buy Topping Goliath beers and support one of my favorite breweries even if it is just a lager.

One of the interesting things about this beer was it's strange light yellow, pale, almost cloudy color. It looked very similar to PseduoSue and I wonder if this look is one common thread in some of the TG beers. The smell was of very faint bread and malts. The taste was similar but with more of these characteristics coming through. The hops weren't hardly noticeable but what I did get was very well integrated in the beer.

Not a great beer but solid and since it was a TG brew, I would take it over other lager offerings.
