Picked up at a bottle shop in Madison, WI.

A - pours a clear, pale yellow color with a somewhat creamy head that leaves a modicum of lacing down the side of the glass

S - aroma is a bit faint - I am getting mostly cereal malts and not much else

T - this beer starts off with grain, cereal, and bready malts that hold fast through most of the palate. A small amount of grassy hops come through on the end, but the malts steal the show. Although a big one-dimensional, the malt bill on this beer is pretty solid.

M - creamy and full bodied, really nice body

D - overall, this is a really nicely put together lager / california common. At $5.99 a bomber it's good, but I don't think I would revisit it...maybe on tap.

This beer pours a clear golden color. The head is an inch in height, and recedes slowly into a nice cap of foam. The aroma is of bread, faint toffee, honey and floral hops. It is on the lighter side, but it is still very pleasant. The taste has all the elements of the aroma, but with a little more power. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with moderate carbonation, and a smooth texture. Overall, this is a nice beer that I would drink again, but won't seek out again.

I can't turn down a beer from Toppling Goliath, no matter the ratings.

Very clean looking. Pale straw golden body with a slight finger of paper white head.

Strong pils aroma... sweet grains, creamed corn, yeasty twang... pretty standard pale lager profile on the nose.

Palate follows the nose... doughy malt flavors, moderate bitter hop contribution... it's like a rich pilsner. Deceivingly light.

Glad to try it. Won't be seeking this one out again though.

From a growler purchased about 50 hours ago filled at Casonova's in Hudson....still perfectly carbonated..

A-Bright golden colored....hazy...nice fluffy white head..

S-Hay...grains....not real assertive on the nose..

T-Loaded with flavor....very bready and sweet with some light lemony citrus notes....does not remind me of a California Common at all but more like a Kellerbier...I can't keep this in my glass it is so tasty...

M-Perfect....rounded and smooth....perfect weight...not watery at all but not heavy....

O-One of my favorite easy drinking beers of all-time. A keg of this at a summer pool party would be perfect. I could drink this every day for the rest of my life. I really, really like this one.

22 oz. bottle from Coffee Grounds, review from written notes.

Light haze, color is a bright pale gold, thin layer of frothy white foam on the surface.
Suspended micro particles of yeast visible in the light.

Clean aroma of yeast and crackery pils malt.

Flavor is mild, light bready malt notes, crisp with a very low level bitterness. Light bodied and it finishes dry and clean. Easily drinkable and deceptively simple. Pretty much how a macro should taste.

Thanks to Kyle for this one. Just right for a muggy, hot spring day. 22oz. bottle into a pint glass. Shared with schen9303.

Pours a coarse, 1 finger white head with poor retention. Beer is a clear pale lemon that reveals ample carbonation. Minimal lace. Average.

Nose is lightly malty with some grains. Sweet. Minimally aromatic but pretty refreshing.

Opens sweet with a big malty body. Some graininess in the middle with just the slightest touch of hop bite at the end. Finishes with some corn and grain. Same sweetness in the aftertaste. Solid for the style.

Light bodied with ample carbonation. Prickly, light, and refreshing in the mouth and goes down quenching and aggressive. Finishes slightly messy with a filmy, slightly lingering aftertaste. Very drinkable.

A simple beer overall but given the right moment, there's nothing better. Not much to think about. Just quenching, enjoyable, and very very refreshing.

A - Pours a brilliant light golden color that is hazy. Bright white pillowy 1 finger head that doesn't last long. Very little lacing on my Duvel Tulip.

S - Hints of lemon, grass, floral, and faint bread.

T - Follows the nose. Light and bready with faint wheat. Hints of the lemon and maybe apple give a tangyness, providing a bit of balance to the sweetness. The taste of this Lager is incredible, best I have had.

M - So light and crisp with good carbonation. Leaves a nice tang on the finish.

D - All around great refreshing lager. Light and crisp. I don't normally drink Lagers, but I will have more of this as it will be great to have during hot summer days. Well done TG!
