Notes / Commercial Description:
This spectacularly golden, medium bodied IPA was crafted from a winning combination of Golden Promise malt and Nugget hops. Fall in love with the big hop aroma of our Golden Nugget as it mingles with fragrances of citrus and evergreen, followed by a floral sweetness. Tropical fruit flavors entice your taste buds before immediately captivating you with a bold, hop forward taste and a pleasant bitterness in the finish.

Pours a light honey color that is filtered. Fluffy white head with good retention.

Aroma is pretty classic west coast. Citrus, grapefruit, and pine.

Taste packs a nice bitterness up front. More citrus pith and pine. Some dankness.

Overall, a surpringly classic take on an IPA from TG. Nothing revolutionary, but the beer is done right. I see it pairing well with pan seared cod with a mango relish. It gets a 84/100.

16 oz can, thanks bro- Pours lightly hazy golden with a medium white head. Aroma is citrusy, floral, grains, spicy hops. The taste is bittering hops, citrus, and pine, but those flavors are fairly muted here, more grain, bittering hops without being too bitter. This day in age it's all citrus bomb IPA's and fruit, this really isn't that, pretty straight forward, but really well crafted, long dry finish that retains it's bitterness minutes after the swallow.

Excellent colouring to the beer with a nice head and a good aftertaste. It goes down smooth. The hoopy taste is balanced nicely with the citrus flavours.

It is a nice golden color with a white head that lingers. Nice pine and citrus flavours that last from start to finish. The hops are also on the front and last thru the entire experience. Just hoppy enough.

What a delightful beer! I bought this at random since I'm going through a "new IPA" phase, and wow, it's excellent! The taste experience is a blend of a number of flavors - a bit of citrus, a hint of pine, and an overall medley of tropical flavors, nothing overbearing. An upbeat, fun-to-drink IPA that is not too heavy or hoppy, almost an "IPA Lite," but in no way is that a problem. I'm a hoppy IPA guy, but I plan on drinking more of Golden Nugget. Enthusiastically recommended.
