Notes / Commercial Description:
This spectacularly golden, medium bodied IPA was crafted from a winning combination of Golden Promise malt and Nugget hops. Fall in love with the big hop aroma of our Golden Nugget as it mingles with fragrances of citrus and evergreen, followed by a floral sweetness. Tropical fruit flavors entice your taste buds before immediately captivating you with a bold, hop forward taste and a pleasant bitterness in the finish.

Pours bright gold with a huge foamy and rocky white head with good lacing. Smells of sweet crushed grain, grass, hay, herbal and slightly ashy. Tastes very earthy overall. Touches of sweet tangerine, but more of that hay and herbal presence. Feel is balanced, crisp, medium carbonation, but "dirty". Overall, this is a good IPA, but very unique. Not one I'd go to regularly, but old skool and delicious nonetheless. Cheers!

16 ounce can poured into a tulip, canned 4/24/17

A: Pours a clear orange color with white head, good amount of lacing.

A: Notes of pine needles, resin, slight floral notes, bready, biscuit malts coming through in the finish.

T: Up front, there's note of pine, resin, needles, moderate amount of bitterness with more pine and slight floral notes lingering in the aftertaste, as the beer warms the pine increases.

M: Medium/light bodied with a good amount of carbonation, finish is pine needle dry.

O: Second beer from Toppling Goliath canned and brewed in Florida, not as good as I was expecting, a lot of hype surrounding Toppling Goliath and I have not tasted the hype, this is good, very pine forward just how I like my IPAs and I'd drink this again but at $14 a four pack there are better price options in my area that equal or taste better.

Canned Feb 27, 2017, so just at a month old. Nice lacing from the finger of head on top of the mostly clear golden pour. Not as bitter as expected, given the namesake' Nugget hops. Really nice floral notes layered on top of pineapple, guava, and mandarin. Not as bursting with flavor and intensity as the most favored IPAs of the moment, but a very well executed, restrained ale with above average complexity.

Pours gold amber. Thick, medium, white head that lasts a while with good lacing.

Smells citrus, malt, juicy, light dank and hints of pine.

Tastes citrus, orange peel, pine, bready malt. Finish is dry with a light piney linger. Medium to full body. Creamy medium carbonation. Very well balanced beer
