22 oz. bottle split with my wife…this isn’t her birthday beer. That comes later, among other things. Happy b-day sweetie!

The pour is 50/50 orange & yellow. Smells just like orange Gatorade with a shot of pineapple. Sweet.

Intergalactic Warrior - level up! All these NE-style IPAs are beginning to blend together in my head & in my words. Fleshy peach, oranges, & mango tango with a sharp, aggressive bitterness. Lingering background earthiness cut my enjoyment a bit; but the finish is a citric bitterness that clears my palate & the palate of half the guys in the cemetery down the road. Not easy to swill.

Very good effort. It’s getting to the point where IPAs have to be truly extraordinary to cut through the bitter clutter & this one is close.

Golden yellow in color. Slightly hazy in appearance. Pine, grapefruit pith and grapefruit juice. Dry, bitter finish. Clean tasting, not too sweet ipa. Good stuff.

Rich, frothy head. Clear with amber color. Full nose that has some sharp hops but also fruity. Well-balanced up front. Some sharp bitter hops in finish. Decent beer overall but not one of my TG favorites.

Poured from a bomber into a snifter. Bottled 9/29/16.

A: Pours a hazy golden-orange color with a three finger, frothy, cream colored head with good retention. Thick, white, billowy lacing throughout.

S: Aromas of tropical fruit and citrus including grapefruit, orange, pineapple, and guava. Strong piney and earthy hop notes as well. Mild floral aromas also come through.

T: Starts off with grapefruit and orange rind followed by piney, earthy, and resinous hops that leave a mild lingering bitterness. Milder Sweet and cracker malt flavors are present as well. As the beer warms, notes of pineapple and tropical fruit become much more evident.

F: Medium bodied, smooth, and crisp with good carbonation. Slightly dry.

O: Overall, another great IPA from TG. This one slightly deviates from TG's MO for their other hoppy brews, but in a good way. The piney/earthy bitter Warrior hop notes in combination with the fruitiness from the Galaxy hops is very enjoyable. Well balanced and super drinkable. The name is actually very representative because characters from the two hop varieties come through in an oscillating fashion as the beer warms. Would love to try this closer to bottling in the future for comparison.

Poured from a bomber into a snifter. Cloudy orangish gold, healthy lacing and carb. Looks like a lot of small particulate matter, nothing too visible. Smell and taste are both mildly strong hop notes, more bitterness and pine than anything. Smooth feel, very little in the way of alcohol presence with a mild bitter taste and burn on the back end. Well done beer.

look: 4 | smell: 4.25 | taste: 4.25 | feel: 4 | overall: 4.25

A: Pale, clear, lingering white frothy head
S: Very floral, pale malt sweetness, bright, passion fruit, hint of sweet tangerine, pineapple
T: Floral, orange peel, light pine, some malt sweetness, lingering bitterness, pineapple
M: Light/medium with standard carbonation for the style
O: This gets better towards the end of the bottle (my initial rating would have been a bit lower), perhaps as my taste buds became used to the bitterness and then more hop flavor came through. Almost seems that the Galaxy flavors come out and the Warrior slowly take a back seat. Definitely can tell there are Warrior hops due to some characteristics from high alpha acid hops. Overall this is good but not great. Kind of reminiscent of wet/fresh hop beers even if this isn't one.

Really digging this beer. It's my first experience (to my knowledge) with warrior AND Galaxy hops. Really loving how they compliment each other. The aroma reminds me so much of pineapple juice... Not overly citrus in the taste but an overall great beer. Really love the TG IPA's

Poured from a bomber into my SN IPA glass
A: Hazy light orange with a thick foamy head that coats the sides of the glass with lacing
S: Resiny pine and citrus
T: Grapefruit zest, lemon and pine. It tastes like it wants to be more bitter than it is
MF: Citrus and pine coat the mouth
the pine lingers long after everything else.
O: Another Top notch brew from Toppling Goliath

Poured cold into a tulip glass; couldn’t read the bottling date, but was bottled within the week, superfresh.
Look = 4.25 Pours a cloudy pale orange color with 2 fingers of just off white head; great retention and really great lace, as per usual.
Aroma = 4.75 Hop dominated; fruity, juicy, citrus and tropical fruits, mango, orange rind, maybe some mild spicy notes, super strong.
Taste = 4.0 Fruity hops lead the way (citrus and tropical fruit) on a pale bready malt backbone; significant orange rind in the bitter finish.
Feel = 4.0 Light to medium body with medium carbonation and a lingering resiny bitterness.
Drinkability = 4.25 More bitter than some of the other TG IPAs but drinkability is still incredibly high.
Overall = 4.25 Great all around IPA, fits in nicely with all the other TG hits.

Awesome nose, little thin on the mouthfeel - on tap at the taproom. I think this is a solid beer, but it was hard to compare next to nelson. Otherwise, the color was golden, good head - strong floral notes. loved it.

Hazy golden color with an off-white head and good retention. Moderate citrus aroma with a little dank pine and bready malt. Flavor of citrus and tropical fruits. Good malt balance adds just a little sweetness to balance the hops. Very smooth and only a small lingering bitter aftertaste.

Really excellent aroma with toffee, caramel, fruit, hops, toast, grass. Flavor's like nose, but there's a hint of medicine in the finish. Otherwise it's just smack dab on.

Poured a hazy orange with a thin fluffy white head. Taste was mango, lemon, pine, with a soft bitterness. Really substantial in the mouth for a lower ABV. Enjoyed this way more than PseudoSue.

22 oz. bottle poured into a snifter.

Appearance - Very hazy deep orange. Almost murky. Medium white head with very nice lacing.

Smell - Hops are resiny and dank. A little grapefruit. Sweet pale malt.

Taste - Grapefruit. Toasted malt. Caramel and doughy sweetness. Grassy bitter finish alone with a touch of spiciness.

Mouthfeel - Feels heavier than a sub-6%IPA. Low carbonation. A little sluggish.

Overall - Another great IPA from Toppling Goliath. Less conventional than the other citrus bombs they make.

Loved the body of this one. Poured a super hazy straw orange. Really like when TG beers have that hazy look. Interesting semi funk fruity aroma. Were it really got interesting was in the taste. Was expecting pineapple because of the look, but really all I got was a huge bitterness. Earthy bitterness I couldn’t but my finger on. Eventually I figured it out. It’s like a citrus rind bitterness. Maybe comparable an aperitif.

650ml bottle served in a TG snifter.

Pours a darker stone-fruit colour, full-on hazy with a two finger white head, nice retention and longevity, lots and lots of lacing. Looks just about perfect, like a NE IPA. Smells primarily of juicy grapefruit and to a lesser extent, spicy passion fruit, mild resin, pine, mellow caramel, pale malt sweetness. Pretty appealing nose if you're the type that enjoys the New Zealand hop varietals. Flavour is balanced; caramel, passion fruit, spicy hops, resin, a bit of grapefruit and pine, with a mild-moderate citrus rind bitterness that lingers on the palate for a while. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, easy to drink, a bit lower on the carbonation than expected, and pleasantly bitter, mostly citrus rind and resin. Very nice, not difficult to drink by any means. Overall, a nice IPA by TG, one of their better ones. I may possibly prefer this to zeeLander, which is saying a lot.

L (4.25) - Very nice hazy orange color. Fluffy white head on top.
S (4) - Not a lot of aromas here. A little fruit hop smell, but not much
T (4.5) - Pretty solid in the taste department. Definitely get that citrusy taste. Not overly bitter and a little bit of malty flavors.
F (4.25) - Light bodied and easy to drink. Good carbonation levels.
O (4.25) - Overall, this beer is solid. I bought two bombers, and will definitely buy again if I ever see it. I wouldn't drive across the state and wait in line to get it, but it's a solid beer.

Thanks to Jeff for this one. Keep delivering the hops my friend! 22oz. bomber into a Carton Boat Beer glass.

Pours a .5 finger foamy white head with poor retention. Beer is a cloudy, dark grapefruit. Lacing is spotty and sparse with little retention. A bit below average actually.

Nose is outrageously aromatic and sweet. Hints of nectarine, tangerine and other sweet citrus fruits. A juicy hop presence floats in the back.

Opens papaya, starfruit and citrus fruit. Some tangerine and orange rind in the middle with a juicy hop presence. Some grapefruit hop bitterness on the finish balanced by a slight cane sugar malt presence. Aftertaste is hoppy with some more rind. Excellent.

Light bodied with moderate carbonation. Smooth and juicy in the mouth and goes down aggressive, prickly and dry. Finishes dry with a sticky, lingering aftertaste. Very drinkable with enough body to carry the flavor.

Certainly one of the more citrus-forward IPAs I've had and I really can't get enough! TG continues to impress me at every turn.

Hazy apricot-golden hue with a cap of creamy foam. Looks delicious. Smells of ripe papaya, mango and marmalade. Taste is juicy juicy..citrus, papaya, ripe pineapple. Moderate bitterness. Dank. Creamy texture holds a effervescent carbonation that is perfect for the style. I could down a growler of this stuff very easily.. it's excellent.

Juicy hop profile. Very dank and weedy. A nice citrus and tropical fruit flavor. Pineapple and papaya. Earthy with a bready malt backbone. Bitter and sticky. Ends with a hop resin aftertaste.

Overall, another solid ipa from TG. Never disappointed with these guys.

Poured from a 22 oz. bottle into a chalice.

Appearance: Pours a hazy golden orange with a moderate amount of bubbles. About one finger of white head that settles into a thinner creamy layer.

Smell: A juicy and dank hop forward aroma with big hints of citrus fruit and pine. Big upfront scent of ripe hops with citrus fruit hints of orange peel, grapefruit, lemon zest, pineapple, and tangerine. Big scent of pine resin along with some weed like herbal hints. Soft pale malt backing hints of caramel, cracker, and yeast. A really nice hoppy aroma.

Taste: Like it smells, a very juicy and earthy hop dominated taste with big notes of citrus and pine. Upfront citrus fruit notes of juicy orange, grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, and pineapple. Earthy and herbal hops with some notes of pine resin and grass. Light backing malt notes of caramel, biscuit, cracker, and yeast. A very good hoppy taste.

Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with a moderate amount of carbonation. Juicy, creamy, and fairly oily with a drying finish.

Overall: Another great hoppy ale from Toppling Goliath. Big juicy citrus and pine flavors with a moderate bitterness. These guys are masters of hops along with the big West Coast brewers.

Look is hazy orange but not as hazy as the recent sue batch.
Smell is lots of citrus. Busting with oranges maybe.
Taste is up front a lot of that citrus smell that and some bitter back up flavor.
Fell is the same as a lot of other TG beers, citrus aftertaste but nothing too lasting.
Overall this is another great beer from TG.
