Beautiful place. Looks like a church in some ways. We went there on a Monday night, so not much of a busy evening, just an easy and great time with wonderful food and one of the most unique beers in the whole world. Service is friendly and they spoke english. We felt like home.

Visited brewpub on 10/07/2010.
Located just around the corner from the Pfaffen ausschank.
Around about 5pm on a Saturday this place was very busy with a broad spectrum of clientel, from older generations to students.
Decoration is brewpub typical with dark wood fixtures, cream coloured walls and lots and lots of pines tables.
Pub is medium sized with a small beer garden at the back.
Päffgen Kolsch is on the menu of course and quality doesnt disappoint, very fresh coming from gravity cask.
Service is speedy and efficient from the Kobes considering the amount of tables they are waiting on.
Didnt try any food, but plenty were partaking from the extensive food menu including rhineland specialties and pork knuckles.
Enjoyed my visit, staying for a few Kolsch, a vibrant busy atmosphere made for great people watching, alongside chatting with my drinking buddies. Would definitely try the food next time
