A 330ml bottle with a BB of Dec 2017. Acquired a while back from Trembling Madness in York. The label describes it as an earl grey IPA with notes of citrus and stonefruit.

A: Poured into an IPA glass. Bottle conditioned. A hazy orange-amber hue with fine floating sediment and moderate carbonation. Produces a large head of creamy white foam that lasts for a few minutes before settling as a patchy surface layer.

S: Aroma of fruity hops with hints of mild citrus, hay, subtle leafiness, light bergamot, tea, caramel malt, ale yeast and earthiness. Possesses a vaguely astringent overtone. Pretty good, though the hops are quite subdued.

T: Tastes of caramel malt with notes of barley sugar, ale yeast, leafy hops, grass/hay, subtle citrus, tea, a hint of bergamot and earthiness in the background. Quite dry, followed by a restrained bitterness upon swallowing.

M: Mouthfeel is smooth, tingly and dry, with light carbonation and good body. Would benefit from enhanced texture. Aftertaste of caramel malt, earthy yeast, subtle hops, tea and a mild bitterness.

O: A decent IPA with an interesting twist - pretty good. Nice looks, while the aroma and flavour are well balanced but perhaps lacking in hoppiness. The tea is quite mild but makes its presence felt. Decent body; could be livelier. An easy-drinking brew - worth sampling if you come across it.

From a 330ml can. Brewed and packaged by Brewdog.
L: Dark gold, hazy with a big-bubbled white head.
S: Bergamot.
T: The earl grey tea adds a distinctive and unique edge to this NZPA. Bitter finish.
F: Medium/light body with moderate carbonation. Dry finish.
O: Interesting, attractive, tasty IPA with fruity NZ hops and astringent earl grey tea leaves. I'm not a fan of earl grey tea as tea but the bergamot seems to work in this brew. That said, one is plenty on any single occasion.

Pours a pale Amber with medium head and limits lace. Nose is somewhat floral, really seems an English IPA and not American style. Not a big nose, and caramel malt coming through. Not much on the citrus or fruit front at all. Taste is sort of in between a bitter and IPA. Again floral, somewhat bitter but not greatly so, and a slight off flavor. Overall, just so-so.

Poured from a 330ml bottle into 350ml beer glass. Poured a cloudy, light bronze with a some head that lasted quite well.

On the nose Earl grey tea is evident immediately with some lemon and grapefruit as well. Quite nice,

Palate is nice and smooth with the tea coming through nicely and working quite well. Mild hop bitterness at the end and quite well balanced.

I was pleasantly surprised by this beer - light refreshing and well balanced.

It should be noted that the bottle I had was brewed by Brewdog in Aberdeen, Scotland.

Overall, a great beer and highly recommended.

Mouth is quite full and satisfying

Bottled
Amber coloured body with big white head that retreats to the edge of the glass
Smells of Citra and tea
Smoke citrus & semolina flavour
This is unusual but quite good
& I don't really like tea

From notes:
A: Golden, slightly hazy
S: Tropical, slightly sweet
T: Honey, tropical fruits, strong earl grey presence, lasting bitterness
M: Medium carbonation
O: Great beer! The earl grey flavour adds complexity and a nice bitterness to an already delicious and well rounded IPA.

My first beer from New Zealand. Bought at the Beer Shop in East Longmeadow, MA. The beer pours with a dark brown-gold appearance, little to no head or lacing for that matter. Interesting spiced aromas; could smell some herbs, tea, cloves, and citrus. Good, acidic taste with a sharp lemon zeal mixed with an Earl Grey tea flavor. Great, crisp body that helps bring out the citrus and acidic flavors. Overall, great aromas and taste.

33cl bottle. Pours a semi-opaque orange with a small white head. Smells of caramel, roses, bergamot, peaches and yeast. The taste is sweet and perfumey, with notes of roses and berries (not sure which, though) and feint bergamot. Incredible beer, unlike anything I have ever tried before.

Disclaimer: I am a big fan of Earl Grey tea, which is made with bergamot oil
