Bottle conditioned. Pours an apricot orange, if a bit lighter. Serious haze. One finger of head on a semi-aggressive pour. Snow white. Very nice sticky lacings right to the finish.

Pungent Columbus hops on the nose, as expected. Nice light citrus fruit with a bit of, well, marijuana.

Hops are forward, no foreplay here. Fresh citrus fruit at first but it morphs into a pleasant bitterness... kind of sneaky. Nice blood orange right the way through. Quite resinous. Took me quite a while to do this review because I needed to take a few minutes between sips lest the lasting bitterness overpower the initial sip. Not overly bitter, just very persistent.

One of the better bottle conditioned beers I've had as far as mouthfeel goes. Probably could have served this to me in the pub and I'd have been none the wiser.

The beer is admitedly one-note, but that's the point with this single-varietal brews, to showcase a particular hop. This one does Columbus justice.
