375 ml green bottle, vintage 2010, from Vinmonopolet Vika. ABV is 6.2%. Hazy orange to brown colour, very low off-white head. Strong sourish & sweetish aroma with notes of plums, wine vinegar and peaches, also hints of horse stable, oak and farmhouse kitchen. Sweet & sour flavour, notes of peaches, vinegar and oak again. Minimal bitterness, dry finish. Not really my cup of tea.

Sampled on cask at Moder Lambic in Brussels
AROMA - smells strongly like Luden's cough drops- in a good way, sugary swet with hibiscus and black pepper notes
APP - deep cherry amber with low pink-tinged head
FLAVOR - much like aroma, really reminds me of Luden's cough drops, soft sourness, kinda one-dimensional.

375 ml bottle, Moor Brewery, Bristol - Pours cloudy red plum with a minimal white foamy head which quickly dissipates. Medium/low carbonation. Aroma - Tart - ripe orchard fruits, more peachy than plum, vinous notes. Taste - Tart forefront - sour peaches/plums, vinous notes, oaky/wood feel, light sour finish. Nice fruit sour.

Draft pour to snifter, pale purple color, minimal head and lacing. Nose is candy-like fruit plum, hints of dank. Taste follows the nose, pleasant funkiness, plum, tart but contained. Dry and average carbonation.

The beer pours a mahogany brown with a thin white head that recedes immediately. It is under carbonated. The beer smells of plum skins, apricots, leather, and oak. It is s tart, with plum skins, dark cherries, leather, and oak. The feel is light. A decent sour, but needs more carbonation.

Sparkling, fizzy head, petering out to nothing in half a minute. Body is deep amber, not quite clear, looking flat.
Plums and blueberry aroma, pie crust, mild.
Sour fruit flavours, wouldn't say strongly of plum, maybe some cherry, apple. Sweeter at first and increasingly tart through the finish, which is long and dry. Bitterness like you sucked on a peach pit. Under-carbonated, it's almost flat, but with just enough fizz and a good body that it's still enjoyable.
I'd say I got a bad bottle, but other reviews remark on low carbonation as well. Depth of flavour isn't what I'd hoped for, nor is there a distinct plum flavour. It's ok, but not worth spending the big bucks required to have it in Canada.

Bottle: Poured a clear reddish color ale with a medium size foamy head with limited retention and not much lacing. Aroma of tart notes with some cherry and oak notes also perceptible. Taste is a mix of tart notes with some cherry notes, some oak and subtle residual sugar notes with some hints of acidity. Body is about average with good carbonation. Enjoyable Flanders red style with just enough depth.

-clear ruby-amber tap pour with minimal effervescence. The aroma is vinous with sour fruit notes. The flavor is of sour apple, grape and some stone fruit with oak notes. The acid-bitterness is moderate. The body is thin

2011 bottling. This is a remarkably under rated beer in my opinion, although perhaps this site should have it broken down in vintages as are designated on the bottles. Pours a crimson read with little head and a real Italian cookie flavor concentrated cherry nose and flavor profile. The body is medium and perfectly balanced. This is a sweet yet complex and layered beer the likes of which one may not ever have tasted. It is delicious all around.
