I have been coming here for a few years and on again. At first I loved it, but the quality of the food has taken a nose dive into a fresh dog pile. I think it is because they just want to shove food in your face and hurry you out the door. The sweet potatoe fries are good though...get a burger, but thats about all.

The beer selection has however, improved a bit. I last went in there about 2 weeks ago and they had DFH Punkin, 2 German Imports that I rarely see; Paulaner Oktoberfest and I cant remember the other, they also had Sierra Nevada Tumbler; some standards as well...They also had a decent bottle selection; small but they offer some nice randoms.

Unfortunately there really is no other place to grab a great brew unless you want to trek down to SONO and go to the Gingerman. So, it will have to do...

Oh, and stay away from the Fifty Coins in New Canaan! The food tastes like it was frozen and cheap, and their idea of Micro Brew goeas as far as a #9 or a blue moon. Everything about that place sucks. (except you can sit outside and enjoy your $15 frozen dinner on a nice night)

I've been going here since it opened. The staff are really great people and the food is slightly better than most bars. However, this is not necessarily a place where the focus is on the beer choices. There are rotating taps of dogfish, blue point, stone, brooklyn, magic hat, and other standards. They have a special beer list which has about 5-6 beers on it but they are priced quite high and most of it is stuff which you could pickup at your average beer store in their specialty section.

The place is also one of the go-to watering-holes for most locals so on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday it can get packed with people, and they aren't there because of the select beer list. There is room for improvement in moving towards having a more eclectic range of craft brews and i don't think it's the place that's the problem, it's just the average crowd wouldn't warrant a shift in this direction.

Still a good place to grab a beer and a Russian Chicken Sandwich.
