So I know I'm supposed to get very in depth with this one but I won't. I've been on a huge Colorado brewery IPA kick lately and tried this one in a sample pack from crazy mountain. It smelled crisp and clean and not too skunky all of which is odd to me from an ipa but totally pleasant. The taste that I got was literally peanuts. I know, I eat it, that's weird- but it tasted like a salted peanut shell from a baseball game. It had a somewhat acrid aftertaste. Will definitely finish the rest but not likely purchase again in the foreseeable future as it was very meh.

Pours from the can a lovely clear gold with a creamy white head that fades fairly fast.
The aroma is floral and citrus with some candied fruit and pineapple.
The taste is citrus and pine with a lingering, pithy bitterness. A bit chewy with a touch of crackery sweetness. A bit of an unpleasant aftertaste on this man's tongue.
Mouthfeel is medium and crisp.

22 oz bottle. Pours clear dark gold with a medium white head that quickly goes to a thin collar that laces the glass some.

The aroma is sweet crystal malts and fruity, grassy hops.

The flavor is sweet caramel malts with some fruity grassy hops that have good bitterness. The mouthfeel is medium bodied and a bit watery.

Overall, it has good bitterness but too much sweet malt and not good hop flavors. It's a bit vegetal too.

Deep gold in color and there some very fine sediment causing this beer to be lightly hazy. There's a fingernail to half inch thick in the middle lightly tan head. The aroma is a slightly unusual orange zest hop note. The taste closely mimics the aroma with a citrus hop burn that really lingers throughout the palate. There is some light malt that puts up some resistance late in the back of the palate. The body is a tad thin and yet still lightly sticky.

From taste notes. Appearance: brilliant dark gold to amber, 2” fluffy head dissipates to a film. Very finely bubbled head. Smell: malty, grassy citrus Taste: Light fruit and bread with a citrus rind hop accent on the finish. Lingering bread and citrusy hop aftertastes. Mouthfeel: Creamy, medium to medium light body and carbonation. Overall: A very soft dry beer that would be good to serve with appetizers.

Poured a gorgeous clear amber body with golden highlights and two fingers of bubbly white head. Overall impression of appearance is of a perfect IPA. Scents of grapefruit peel, pine resin, dirty, earthy, herbal hops, moderate floral hops, lemon zest, spicy hop aromas at moderate levels and a touch of pale malt. Overall impression of aroma is of a nice IPA, true to style, with a nice aroma profile from the West Coast. Not amazing but quite nice. Flavor begins highly bitter, with notes of pine resin, herbal hops, dirty, earthy, weedy, dank hops, and a bit of grapefruit peel. Middle continues these flavors but adds a slight bit of pale malt. Finish is dry with notes of pine resin, floral hops and herbal hops, with some dank, vegetal hops supporting at high levels of bitterness. Aftertaste is dry with notes of herbal, dank, vegetal and piney hops at high levels. Overall impression of flavor is of a very hoppy IPA, extremely so, with nice notes of pine, citrus and vegetal mingling. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with a sticky, resinous, drying feel and moderate carbonation. Overall impression of mouthfeel is of a good IPA, not bad. Overall this is a good IPA, deep in flavor and aroma with a wide variety of rich hop flavors and a rich, bitter flavor. A very nice IPA.

Bomber served cold into an imperial pint glass.

Hookiebobb is an amber orange color with very good clarity. The head is thin even with a straight-up pour.

Aroma is nicely hopped and fresh with pleasant orange and other citrus coming through.

Flavor is also enjoyable managing good balance between bitter hops and a mildly caramel-focused malt.

Mouthfeel is medium bodied and nicely carbonated.

Overall a really solid IPA. Balanced and drinkable. It's good enough to make me want to try their other offerings so that's a good sign.

I love the hybrid of American and English styles in this beer. Great hop flavor with strong malty undertone without being 10%

The HookieBobb is ok....its more English ipa leaning. It poured a hazy light copper with white head that left a spotty lace. The scent had taste were dominated by more bitter like hops. The mouthfeel was medium in body with good carbonation. Overall it was fine....worth a shot....absolutely.

From the 650 ml. bottle. Sampled on March 7, 2015.

It is a straw yellow pour, vaguely cloudy, with a white foamy head. Some lacing. That part of the beer was the best part of the experience.

The aroma had little in the way of hops and smelled more like orange, apple, or pear. None of those citrus, grassy, floral hops I might have hoped for.

Light body.

The taste is basically the same as the aroma with a lot of fruit, some pale malts, but little else.
