Aroma: Low to moderate pear and lemon hop aromatics up front. There is a bready malt base in the background but the hop aromatics are forward.

Appearance: Hazy amber pour with a moderate white head. Head retention is good and leaves nice lacing on the glass.

Flavor: Nice tangerine, lemon, and peach hop flavors with firm hop bitterness. There is a subtle caramel malt base providing a nice foundation but the hop flavors and bitterness are assertive. Balance is to the hop bitterness. Finish is clean and dry. Aftertaste lingers with a powdery hop bitterness.

Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with medium carbonation. No oiliness, astringency, or heat.

Overall impression: A hoppy American Pale Ale. Not sure why it hasn't gotten more love here. I found it to be easily quaff-able and enjoyable on a hot summer day.

Gold to amber color. Nearly clear. Decent head that leaves plenty of webby lace on the glass.

Plenty of caramel aroma. Sweet with little hop to counterbalance the nose.

Better hop presence but the sweet (crystal?) malt is pretty strong. The body is rich, particularly for a pale ale. The finish is very long lasting. Not much hop but it lingers a very long time.

This is an interesting beer. I find it to be a bit too sweet for my tastes, but I do appreciate the complexity of the beer.
