12 oz. Bottle

Pours a nice yellow color, pretty nice carbonation, with a pretty nice thick/creamy one-finger off-white head, which leaves some nice sticky lacing behind. The nose is hoppy, malty, citrusy. The taste is hoppy, malty, citrusy. Medium body. Overall, a nice tasty brew.

Poured from a bottle into a pint glass. Golden yellow color with a nice thick head and decent lacing. Sweet bready smell. Taste was initially dry and earthy. As the bottom of the bottle was reached, a quick swirl produced a residue with a very pleasant funk. This beer seems a bit underrated.

Cloudy deep orange body, fluffy off-white head, few lazy bubbles. Nose and flavor contain soft tropical fruits, good background malt, moderate sweetness, mild bitterness. Body is medium-full, which is mismatched for the light flavors.
An easy drinking APA... nearly too easy drinking. Even in a 'light' ale light this I want a bit more bite.

Picked this up mixed and matched at the local Carnivores in Oakmont.

A - Pours a rather dark amber brown color I would have suspected IPA if you didn't tell me the style. Bubbly head makes for no lacing.
S - Well I wouldn't call this "bright" or "Tropical" but it does have a decent pale malt base mild herbal hops and in a way reminded me of passion fruit juice.
T - Herbal and vegital with a sweet malt base and a mildly bitter finish.
M - It goes down rather smooth so I can't knock it for that.

Overall not something I would get again but not as gross as the reviews make it out to be. BTW they changed the ABV to 5.7% so maybe the recipe has changed as well? It's definitely better than an "OK" pale ale.

Tasted in a 12 oz snifter from draught at Firkin on April 8, 2015. Look is hazy blond with a white head and spotty lacing. Smell is herbal, vegetal and biscuit and caramel malt aromas. Taste is herb, spice, grass, yeast and biscuit and caramel malt flavors. Feel is medium to light in body with sweet mouthfeel and a slightly bitter finish.
