Packaging: 500ml brown bottle, pry cap

Purchased: Single from Chuck's, Bowling Green, KY
Drinking this in honour of Maiden who is playing tonight in Nashville!
Appearance is a clear and bright copper colour, with an off-white head of a couple of fingers. Both lacing and head retention make a good showing.
Smell has biscuit malts, earthy hops and a light amount of fruitiness.
The taste is balanced well -- partly sweet and partly bitter but not too much of either.
Mouthfeel is clean and crisp with a moderate carbonation on a medium body. The finish is much like the taste, balanced well between caramel malts and a light bittering of hops.
Overall a very good bitter, and it was fun reminiscing about my old metal days from the 80s whilst enjoying this one. You'll take my life but I'll take yours too!

Iron Maiden Trooper brewed by Robinsons Family Brewers, with an ABV of 4.70% This brew pours out a nice deep amber color with a nice white head. This brew has the look of most brews on the market, maybe a bit darker. I'm not saying that is a bad thing, the color is nice. The smell of Iron Maiden Trooper, is rich with grains , and malts. You do pick up on some hops at the end of this brew. There is also a nice sweetness to the smell of this brew. Now for the taste, it is bold with flavors. You pick up on a lot of grins in the taste of this brew. Nothing bad, there are a few hops in the taste as well. There is also a nice mild smooth ,sweetness to the taste of this brew. This is a nice drinking brew. There is nothing overpowering about Iron Maiden Trooper, it has a real nice balance to it. The body to this brew is lighter than most but not to light. The mouthfeel is Bold, smooth, light , and refreshing. Overall I'm giving Iron Maiden Trooper a 4.25 out of 5. Robinsons Family Brewers did a nice job with this one. I would buy this brew again.

Very unique beer. I don't usually go for lighter beers, but the use of cascade hops in this ale give The Trooper a bitter and refreshing kick like Dave Murray's riff on the titular track of Iron Maiden's classic album.

it's actually not bad...... I've heard low opinions on this, but it's actually a pretty decent brew. definitely a British beer and definitely a 'bitter'. low abv but a lot of character not over-hopped....

Love me some Maiden.Poured into an imperial pint glass a clear rich golden with a thin wispy head that was gone in a flash, great color, dissapointing head.Aromas of deep caramel biscuit and hint of brown sugar,a faint green apple-like sourness as well.A light mouthfeel near being watery but not quite.Nice flavors for what it is,a subtle English ESB,caramel and buttery tones with a tinge of iron, the green apple notes come through again in the finish along with a light smattering of leafy hops. The beer is eh...ok,the band kicks ass and the charge of the light brigade was very heroic.
