Great location, decent tap list although often times the servers have no clue what they are talking about. The food is generally horrible which makes it hard to go there to spend an evening. I have given them so many chances on the food, and always wind up disappointed. My 8 year old son refers to it "as the place that can't even make nachos". My suggestion, have a drink on the patio in the summer and eat next door.

Cool place located right on Greenwood, which is really the main drag of Bethel, CT. This is in the old opera house. Lot's of brick, wood and tin ceilings. The bar is U-shaped and has a few towers with 12 beers on right now.
From my visit : about 4 or 5 Bluepoints ( they had a tasting the night before) DFH 90 min., Captain Lawrence Pale, Chimay Triple,BBC Steel Rail , an Abita IPA..and a few others. The only macro was Guiness. I met the owner, Matt who seems like a good guy and very interested in supporting local brews. He has some CT brewers lined up for Wed. night tastings; Burnside and Cavalry. Also, he will soon have a website up and running with updates on taps and tastings.
He said they will be installing additional taps.
I just made a quick visit and didn't try any food, but the menu looks interesting and some foody websites have rated the food as good.
I will get back there, try it out and report back.
The woman tending bar was friendly and attentive.
This part of CT is really a beer desert....other than My Place, Newtown, which is probably 10 miles away; so this beer bar is a great addition to the area.
