I have passed by Dandelion Market several times during the weekends and seen it packed with 20-something hipsters all enjoying a brew and food. I stopped in here one night on the way to another establishment and the place was pretty empty for a weeknight. The bartender was friendly and prompt and they had one flatscreen playing the football game muted. Soft music was playing in the background and the atmosphere was very cozy. I sat at the bar and ordered a 13 Rebels. Their selection of beer ranges from the general Shock Top all the way to Klokke Roland in the $5-6 range. Their upstairs was closed so I was unable to explore but would definitely stop in again for a few pints or for a nightcap.

One of my favorite places in Charlotte. Cozy atmosphere and great service. Nice draught beer selection and excellent food. I have been there with my wife for date night and I have also been there with friends to have some beers. You cant go wrong with this place. I highly recommend it.
I have tried most of their beers that they have on tap and I think they have a good selection. Some of the beers are more mainstream, which suited my wife and less-daring friends, while others are a little harder to find.
If you are a Charlottean or are passing through, you should definietely try this place.

I stopped in with my wife while staying in downtown Charlotte.
The decor is comfortable and authentic with a nice mix of brick, wood and steel. The odd shaped bar blends nicely with the table seating. And a collection of wooden shoe inserts makes an eclectic backdrop.
They had 24 beers on tap with several from NC, others from the northeast and favorites from the rest of the US (Stone, Bells, SN). It's a pretty safe selection but it's still pretty solid. Most ran $5 - $6.
While the atmosphere and beer are good, the food is even better. They do small plates (almost apps) and each one we tried was amazing. We had a seared tuna, scallops, fries with a curry dip, a sausage stuffed poblano pepper and a caprese salad. It was very memorable.
Dandelion is a great stop for a few beers but once you see the food, you're unlikely to make it out without eating. I'd rate it a B+ / A- as a beer bar but an A / A+ as a beer restaurant.

Two-story, downtown restaurant with bars and seating on both floors. Only ate lunch there, but was please with the selection of mediterranean bistro-type sandwiches.
Excellent selection of craft brews on tap with refillable(?) growlers upstairs. I could not get enough of the Bell's Two Hearted Ale! Excellent. Also had pints of the Redhook Long Hammer IPA, Stone Arrogant Bastard, and Dogfish Head 60 Minute IPA. Also available Kolsch, hefs, lagers, a cider, pilsners, Scottish red ales, and a couple Belgians.
By far the best brewpub I visited in Charlotte. About 4-5 blocks from the convention center, but well worth the short walk.
