Pours a reasonable-sized, fizzy white head, quickly fading away to nothingness. Brew is a cloudy, nearly opaque light yellow.

Aroma is milky, chalky, rustic, slightly tart - a classic Berliner Weisse aroma, and all that entails. Straw and a musty barn; light lemons; slightly sweet yeast.

Flavor follows: this one definitely leans toward more traditional Weiss profiles, nearly bordering on Wit, with a heavy emphasis on wheat, yeast, and a slightly spicy touch. At the same time, it's fairly tart up front, which gives way to a light sweetness fairly easily.

Finish is very similar to a Wit, without the traditional dose of Belgian spices. What sets it apart in terms of flavor is that tart, citric punch up front.

Thick wheat, lively mouthfeel; it's not a beer you really have to sip, but it's much thicker than I would typically expect for a "refreshing" beer style. Cloying finish.

Rated to style, I would say this is an excellent Berliner Weisse (no syrup required). Rated for overall enjoyment, this remains a style near the bottom of my list, but this is a pretty darned tasty example, nonetheless

Appearance - Clean yellow with a white head. Dark, smoky, and inviting. Nicely carbonated

Smell - Fruity and yeast.

Taste - Light wheat and lemon.

Mouthfeel - Refreshing.

Overall - Great beer. I will not hesitate to drink this beer again.

Pours a hazy straw color with a huge white head. There is a fair amount of residual lacing. Lots of spice up front with a good amount of yeast taste also. A really drinkable version of the style.
