I decided to try the Raspberry Weizen as part of my commitment to sample this year's summer offerings.

The pint was served showing off its golden/copper color with a slight haze and non existent head that screamed light/thin summer session beer.

There was a slightly spicy and clear Raspberry aroma to the beer and no lacing left behind as it was consumed.

The taste traveled from a slight hop start to raspberry sweet finish.
I thought this beer was a tad too sweet.

The beer did have the classic dry wheat finish that was refreshing during hot weather.

This is a pretty good, but not great.

I'd say middle of the road for available summer offerings.

Draught: The beer was a clear golden color. There was no head or lacing associated with it. The aroma was pretty much overwhelmed by the raspberries. Nothing else got through, although the aroma itself was not overwhelming. The taste was raspberries, with a little wheat. This was basically the Weizenheimer with raspberry flavoring.
