Such a neat restaurant. Built right into the old town Fredericksburg scenery. They make do with a very cool space built into the old train station, so while you may be occasionally disrupted by a passing train, it is not a big issue.

The food is phenomenal. A very good menu with traditional German and Austrian dishes that take me back to my years in Germany. They put some interesting twists on some classic dishes. The downside is that they are very expensive on their food items.

The beer is just great. Limited, but rotating, selection. They serve it in my favorite style, Liter Steins! For $10 you can get good German draft beer in a liter. One or two beers and you will won't need any more.

The bar is nice, a little understated. The outside area is great during the summer and early fall. Has a real Bier-Garten feel. Definitely recommend that anyone in the area stop in and give them a try. I have always had great experiences.
