By far the best craftbeer shop in Denmark. Most of the beers are in the cellar. The selection is extensive and the quality is high. Prices are very competetive for Copenhagen but higher than most other countries.

From my research the best beer shop in Copenhagen, a 10 minute walk from the train station. It's really a small kiosk on a corner. Fridges on the ground floor have 50 plus different beers. But the real secret is the basement, so ask the server if you can access it, you'll have to leave any backpacks up stairs. What you'll find is a real tight shelved area full of different beers from Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Estonia, Belgium, US & Britain. The bottles I selected all seemed to be fairly fresh. What will hold you back is just the general price of beers in Denmark, painfully expensive. Kihoskh does seem to have reasonable prices though, also beware of a 5% tax on foreign cards, here and pretty much everywhere else in Copenhagen.

Kihoskh is the best beer store in Copenhagen, no doubt about it.
When you walk in, it seems to be a very small convenience store with a couple of fridges of beer. The true beauty of Kihoskh is the low ceilinged basement, which is all about beer. Seven shelves stocked with all manner of beer, lots of Danish beer, of course, plenty of other European beer and the best selection of American beer in Denmark, if not Europe. Everything is sorted by style, and the order is impeccable. Friendly and knowledgeable help us always available if needed. They also have a selection of beers brewed for them by Mikkeller, well worth trying.
If you're going to buy beer in Copenhagen, Kihoskh should be your first stop. I try to get there about once a month, and I'm never disappointed.

Visited on March 4, 2015. Wow! When I learned I was traveling to Copenhagen, all I read about was visiting Olbutikken. This was a bust, and I was disappointed -- limited hours and selection. Then I learned about Kihoskh, and I found everything I was looking for and more. The location is very unassuming; essentially it is the Danish version of a convenience store. Inside, there is a good selection of beers in the coolers, but nothing fantastic. Ask to go downstairs, and you will be amazed. In the cellar, there is an enormous selection of Danish, Belgian, European, and US beers. Prices are consistent or better than other places. Folks were around occasionally if one had questions, but one was mostly on their own. This was the best Mikkeller selection next to the Mikkeller bar, and certainly this was the best selection for other Danish and European beers. Well worth checking out as a first stop on any trip to Copenhagen!

I heard about this place from some friends and it's very near to Olbutikken. Maybe 4-5 blocks away. Kihoskh is actually a kiosk, with all the random stuff you'd find at a corner store, except it has fresh produce as well.
The beer selection is pretty amazing, especially for a store that doesn't sell beer exclusively. They have a lot of craft American beers. I was very surprised to see that they sold this awesome Icelandic Lava beer. And they even have at least 2 beers of their own that are brewed just for that store, including a collaboration with Mikkeller. This place is awesome and the beers are a little bit cheaper than in Olbutikken. A pretty wide selection although far fewer Belgians. A huge American selection. And it stays open late! What a fantastic place!
