Pours a cloudy caramel brown/ amber color with huge frothy yellowish head. Chocolate maltiness in the aroma with a very slight sour oak prsence as well as some dark fruit. Well balanced with sweet and creamy choclate malt, raisin, prune and fig with a bitter dry finish.

Brewed for alvinne( as the label says) by brewery de Graal in nov 2004 and best before two years after filldate. Nice white and lasting head and a darkbrown almost black beercollor and cause of cristal clearness of the brew obviously filtered beer. Nose is very fruity and candylike, orange and citrussy hints noticable. Some fine maltyness and green hint of hops complete a good and inviting smell. Taste is also good being smooth but with sharp burnt hint. Full maltsweet body, (dark)candy, some but not overdone alcoholic taste and moderate but fine bitterness. Yes this is a fine brew and mouthfeel is thick and taste. Good carbonisation for more freshness and IMO very easy drinkable and enjoyable brew; recomendable.
