16 ounce can poured into a tulip

A: Pours a murky, dull orange color, looks like unfiltered apple cider, no head developed and little to no carbonation, lots of lacing. I really don't like the turbid, murky appearance of NE IPAs.

A: Punching with aroma, bursts of tangerine, oranges, orange peel, pineapple, sublet grapefruit and guava, it's very aromatic and sweet, smells promising.

T: Like the nose, lots of citrusy sweetness, tangerines, oranges, orange peel, light citrus peel like bitterness, finish has slight grapefruit peel and guava, juicy finish, leaves my watering, also getting some pineapple as well, lots of citrus.

M: My one issue with the mouthfeel is that it has very little carbonation, it's smooth, creamy, juicy, leaves a slight citrus peel dryness in the mouth that quickly fades, its almost like drinking orange juice.

O: Really great citrus sweet flavors, lacks carbonation, lacks bitterness, but overall it's a tasty beer. I would not seek this out again as I'm not a NE IPA fan, I prefer piney, citrus peel IPAs but this still has great flavors and aromas.

Poured from a 16-ounce can (individually undated but sticker on 4-pack dated 09-04-17) a hazy dark orangish under a solid one-inch thick white head which fades to a thin cap and rim leaving spotty lace. Aroma is fruity and floral with tangerine and pineapple notes. Flavor is juicy orange citrus, stone fruit, and tropical pineapple with a slight sweetness on the finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Soft and dry finish. Intriguing use of spelt and buckwheat adds an unusually grainy complexity throughout. Really enjoyed this. Oh, and that label...might justify adding a new rating score for the can art.

This beer looks like a glass of orange juice. There is a big, fluffy white head that retains well. Some lace.
Fruity aroma, mostly citrus, but also some tropical.
Orange and lime to start, then pineapple.
Sweet, not hoppy.

Wow.
This one pours a muddled overripe peach haze. Frothy white head rises about an inch and a half, slowly retreats to a consistent milky head that leaves moderate lacing.
Smell starts with a subtle peach but then, oh then, it moves to a bright tangerine, and then, wait for it, lush fruity, fleshy pineapple.
Taste is more of the same with the juicy pineapple really carrying the bulk of this tasty ride.
Mouthfeel is fluffy, almost creamy.
Overall, a really solid citrus to tropical NE style IPA.

Like Babe Ruth swinging for the fences, this son of a gun is solid. Think of your most favorite dream, explore your most favorite memory... Well, Brouwerij canned that. Chewy, rich, luscious...

Get it while the gettin’ is good.

I'm certain this is fresh, though the canned on date has rubbed off. Poured from a tall-boy into my Bruery tulip.

Turbid jonquil liquid with a fist of off white creamy crennellation above. Rocky pearling lacing; superior retention.

Star-burst candy, tangerine, kiwi, lime zest, and pineapple in the nose. Very nice.

Very sweet palate entry with guava, ripe papaya, and honey notes. Mild bitterness, with a growing scallion/earthy note (probably from the Simcoe) leading into the finish with a lingering aftertaste of lime. Malt profile is complex (spelt, buckwheat, and mecca grade barley) and lends a unique bready/spicy character to the flavor, but the finish is borderline cloying. Some floral/soapy notes and hints of candied ginger emerge as the ale warms. Overall something like a hop-burst, herb-infused Sunny-D.

Thick, soft, yet almost abrasively carbonated.

One of the most unique offerings I've had from this brewery, and one I would expect to be the most polarizing. We've come a long ways from the West Coast style IPA, but I'm unclear if this is all progress...

Can. Thank you, Justin!

Fun and unique label art. Poured down the center of a pint glass. The beer appears a murky, caution light yellow hue with over an inch of soapy white head. Aromas include sweet, earthy malts, resinous pine, spiced breads. Similar flavor. This has been stored cold. Malt forward more than I care for in beers of this ilk. High sweetness with moderate alcohol warmth. Ok.

Can of approximately 2 weeks in age into a tulip glass.

L: While not the beer per se, the can label is one of the most unique I've seen to date. Beer pours bronze orange with 2+ fingers of medium density pillowy dirty white head that had good retention and left mixed ringed/windshield lacing.

S: Mucho apricot forward, with some floral undertones.

T: Follows the nose in being heavy on apricot, perhaps some subtle grassiness pokes through. Beer finishes with limited bitterness but with some tanginess that clears the palate relatively quickly.

F: Slick and creamy with moderate carbonation, very soft on the tongue.

O: An interesting experimental IPA that comes in one of the most innovated labeled cans I've seen to date.

Turbid yellow, looks like an Other Half I had.

Lime, hay, El Dorado hops.

Lime without the acidic bite. Sticky candy orange, not as bright as some hazies but very rich. Original, don't think I've had this mix of hops.

Maybe heavier than some other's I've had from West.

for one, this is easily the coolest label i have ever seen on a can, for two, it might be the best ipa i have had all year. its amazing stuff, my favorite beer from these guys to date, and something really quite distinctive and memorable. its a hazy one, but they use buckwheat and spelt in the grain bill to give it a little earthy and starchy character, and i think those are brilliant adds. everyone is dry hopping the crap out of pale two row and white wheat based beers, its the trend, but they are all starting to bleed together a little bit, to taste the same. but this is decidedly different with these grains in the mix, its an awesome idea, a perfect foundation for these juicy bright hops in here. the hops are insanely fresh to me, juicy and ripe ad tropical, but almost crystalline, frosted, like good weed looks under a microscope, more concentrated and intense than most hops but with only mild bitterness. lemons and tangerines and pineapples and kumquats and more, its fruity alright, but its bursting, its right up front in a way i am not used to in hoppy beer, and its really unique in the blend of varietals. i get the new zealand one above the others, but they are all there, working together in a cool new way for me. el dorado is punchy here, in all of its glory, limes and melons, also sort of candied or crystallized or something, just very focused. there is a rustic foundation that seems organic, and a modern hop intensity that seems almost engineered, the best of the both worlds coming together here. this blew my mind, i wish i could get it out here in colorado!
