Poured from a pint bottle into a Dogfish Head tulip

L: Clear golden amber pour. 2 fingers of fluffy head... pretty good ring of lacing.

S: Yeast and phenols... a little spice, grains, and honey.

T/F: Falls flat... grainy up front... lacking that big Tripel flavor you'd expect... muted spice, dry... vague fruit... tea... overly bitter for the style. Medium bodied and stick yon the tongue. Boozy.

O: Very off for the style.... and doesn't even come close to what I'd look for in a tripel. I'd pass on another.

Yellow pour with slight haze, small 1/3" white head. Aroma of alcohol and yeast.

Taste, boozy. I guess almost every tripel is. Some fruity yeast esters, more bitterness than expected despite not tasting anything in the way of hops beyond said bitterness. Yeast doesn't do the traditional banana, comes in with some apple and pear like notes. Some sweetness, didn't find the carbonation as high as most tripels.

Tough style to make in this region and have people think you have something to offer beyond what Belgium brings to the table.

Pours a clear amber colour. Smells fruity, fruity yeast, earthy hops, grainy malts. Tastes fruity and grainy throughout, like it smells, and honey notes.

L: A bright peach tinted gold pour produces a lacy, rapidly dissipating 1” white foam collar.
S: Stone fruit – peach to apricot, citrus, more general fruit, traces of brown sugar, hint of floral.
T: Fruit, peach, orange, spice, tropical, biscuit to bread crumb, light caramel, coriander, some hard candy and banana with a mild herbal bitterness.
F: Very creamy medium body and medium high carbonation.
O: A very easy to drink tripel.

Fairly true to the style, but some different fruit flavors linger.
Gotta love experimentation and change.

Appearance: A cloudy orange color with minimal retention or form, but very nice lacing.

Nose: Orange cream popsicle, some peach, pear and spice.

Taste: Perfectly crispy for a tripel. I taste lime and chemical citrus, an alcoholic finish. Not as malty as I would like, but well balanced. You can taste that attention is paid and this is a quality brew.
