Smells faint and tinny but the flavor is great. Really chocolatey.

Poured jet black in color with a very nice creamy dense mocha colored head on top. Great lacing and retention on this one. The smell of the beer had a very nice roasted cocoa aroma to it. The taste of the beer had a nice bitter dark chocolate roastiness to it. The feel is smooth, yet velvety enough to keep it in check with the style. Overall this was a very nice Breakfast Stout.

No lacing. Notes of coffee, vanilla, and some malts. It has some carbonation to it. It has a well-blended taste, but the body is thin.
I would suggest giving it a try.

Hey black color, below average carbonation with a just above average body. Aroma is roasted malt, roasted coffee beans, and milk chocolate. Taste is very similar, a slight sweetness followed by a small amount of a bitter finish

Dark, smells and taste of roasted coffee and chocolate. Very enjoyable for a non-beer-connoisseur.

This was poured into a nonic pint glass. The appearance was a black color with a one finger off whitefoamy head that dissipated within less than a minute. Light lacing stuck in rings around my glass. The smell had a huge combination of roasty coffee beans to big milk and dark chocolate goodness. The taste was basically the same smooth sweet roasty coffee to chocolate. Sticky sweet roasty aftertaste leads to a sticky sweet chocolate finish. On the palate, this one sat about a medium on the body with a fairly decent sipping to sessionable quality about it. Smooth sticky roasty sweetness clings to my tongue. Overall, I say this was a wonderful breakfast stout that I would have again.

12oz bottle poured into an East End Brewing snifter:
Look: Pours a nice dark black color with about an inch of a tan head! Some lacing is present with some of that being retained!
Smell: Awesome bitter coffee notes on the nose along with some roasted malts! Love the aroma on this brew!
Taste: Bitter coffee, some chocolate, roasty malts, and maybe a hint of like some smokiness!
Feel: Medium bodied. Wish this beer was slightly thicker.
Overall: Very solid breakfast stout from Jason Lavery and crew! This beer is even more phenomenal when on tap. I was glad some of this showed up in Pittsburgh and I was able to grab 12 of these. I will continue picking this one up when available and I suggest you do to!

Draft at Blue Moon in York, PA. Pours an opaque black with a modest tane head. Inital impression is roast coffee, burnt toast, and a touch of milk chocolate. Medium mouthfeel (a little light for a stout); low carbonation. Finish is somewhat sweet and has a hint of vanilla. Not bad but definitely not legendary.
