Poured into a weizen glass, the appearance was a cloudy pale yellow color with a three finger's worth of white foamy head. Roamed nicely around the glass and slid off at an adequate pace. Light lace.
The aroma had a really nice sweet wheat, banana esters, pronounced clove features and a subtle lemon crispness.
The flavor was moderately sweet taking in fresh sweet wheat and a nice banana estery sort of quality to play with the clove-like spice. Semi-smooth sweet wheat sort of aftertaste.
The mouthfeel was between light and medium bodied with a really good sessionability about it. Carbonation felt appropriate as it seemed to guide the overall flow to the feel of the ABV which that felt appropriate as well.
Overall, pretty damn nice hefeweizen that I would have again.

This was poured into a weizen glass.
The appearance was a soft cloudy yellow color with a three finger white foamy head that dissipated at a slow pace yielding a soft fairly thick white foamy lacing running around the glass.
The smell takes in all of the normal aromas of a nice hefeweizen - banana esters, clove and a slight bubblegum aroma.
The taste was balanced between the sweet and the spicy clove. It ran nicely into the aftertaste and allowed a really quick spicy finish.
The mouthfeel was about a light to medium on the body with a super sessionably sweet and spicy feel laying down on my tongue. Carbonation seems to hit right.
Overall, Rising Tide pulled this one off extremely nice. I'd have again preferably in the Summer or Spring.

10 oz. on tap at the brewery in proprietary stemware on a sunny, breezy spring day with a grilled cheese sandwich.

Appearance: Hazy straw with a big white, foamy head. Seems fairly well carbonated.

Smell: Smells of clove, wheat bread and some banana.

Taste: Those bananas and cloves are right there. Tasty. Somewhat thin, but plenty of flavor for a summer beer.

Mouthfeel: Light bodied. Definitely a summer wheat beer.

Overall: Good stuff. Could see myself tipping a few of these this summer. Recommended for wheat beer fans.

Appearance: 1/4 inch head and high carbonation, gold in color, hazy

Smell: lemon, wheat, and malt

Taste: big banana, wheat, and grain

Mouthfeel: sweet, light in body, medium carbonation

Overall: Of all the Rising Tide beers, this may be my favorite. I found this to be sweet and very clean. I will be getting this again.

Poured into a shaker pint. The color is cloudy straw. There is a small eighth inch head.

The aroma is full of banana with a hint of clove. Some malt honey sweetness comes through a bit as well.

The tastes balances the malt, yeast and grassy hops beautifully. With every sip I can choose to focus my pallet on a different area of flavor or I can just casually toss this one back; it's so light and drinkable. The banana-clove yeast is strong in the finish.

This is very tasty and a great American wheat beer.
