16oz can picked up at Belmont Station in Portland, OR
Poured into an Allagash tulip
p- deep orange/amber with a slight haze; small slightly off-white head; moderate lacing
n- med aroma of juicy citrusy hops
t- wow- this is tasty; initially follows the nose, but bolder; sweet juicy orange flavor over biscuity malt; a touch of melon; some caramelization and spicy yeast toward the finish; more sweet malt comes out as it warms, as well as some booze in the finish; light alcohol warmth
mf- med-full bodied w/ med-high carb
o- an excellent DIPA- happy I grabbed it!

Appearance: After a bubble show, the light amber colored liquid is capped by a two finger white head; good retention and webby lacing
Smell: Caramel malt backbone supports peach tones and a resinous, piney element
Taste: Resinous from the outset bringing a piney element; underneath are both notes of the caramel malts, melon and peach; after the swallow, some onion and garlic tones emerge; the finish has some residual sweetness but a bold hoppy character
Mouthfeel: Medium to full body with moderate carbonation
Overall: Leans to the left coast with some distinctive flavors that set it apart; I'm impressed

Can dated 8-20-19 into pint glass. Pours a clear amber with a persistent eggshell-white head. Initial impression is orange, grapefruit, pine, and caramel. Mouthfeel is quite smooth - no hard edges. Slightly sticky. Finish is hoppy but with an underlying sweetness. I would put this nearer the West Coast end of the IPA spectrum. Very enjoyable.

16oz bottle. Poured out a clear, golden amber color with a good-sized, khaki-colored head of foam. It smelled of toasted caramel, pine and a mild citrus aroma. Very malty and sweet with toasted caramel and a piney bitterness.

16oz. can served in a tulip. Pours a lovely burnished copper with a creamy, half-inch, bright white head that disperses into a tight band around the shoulders and a dollop across the center. Nose expresses big bursts of old school hops - resiny, piney and citrusy. Taste consistent with, but less assertive than the nose. Malty backbone mellows out the hops presence and I also get a slightly smokey character in the flavor profile and finishes with a bit of ethanol at the back. Mouthfeel is light-medium in body with an even carbonation. A solid brew; however, nose was more promising than the overall impression.

Had from can dated 11.11- approx 2 months old ... absolutely fantastic DIPA, so smooth and creamy, minimal malt backbone but yet not overly bitter, so much flavor and so smooth. Certianly not a new school NE style but also not an old school west coast take. It just works - highly recommend
