Cask at Oakquinox

Cask pour is a murky orange color with no head. Smells okay, mostly a banana ester quality and a lot of yeast. The aroma is very woody, but luckily I don’t really get any tequila. I also don’t really get much in the way of hops. The flavor is incredibly harsh. Overdone on the oak chips with a touch of tequila flavor. Lots of yeast, minimal citrus and pine hops, and a bit of banana. Sweet bready malt is also present. Just a horrible idea and equally poor execution.
