I love the can this beer comes in. A yellow can with Emergency on it sure says something. I hope the beer inside taste good. The beer is 43 degrees and served the beer into a pils glass. The beer produced a two finger white head. The head has good retention and dissipated slowly. The head left lacing on the glass. The color of the beer is SRM 2 a pale straw color with yellow hues. The clarity of the beer is clear.

The aromas of the beer are crackers, spicy phenols, dms, floral esters, and yeast.

The flavors of the beer are dms, crackers, spicy hops, floral esters, yeast, and toasted malts,

The mouthfeel of the beer is dry and thin.

The body of the beer is light, medium carbonation, and a light finish.

The beer is just that an Emergency. It is a lawnmower beer at its best. The beer is decent and that is putting it mildly. Still enjoyed the fact that it was gimmicky beer. As a pilsner it needs help.

Wild Heaven Beer "Emergency Drinking Beer"
12 fl. oz. can, "CANNED ON 08/06/2018 18:09"
Contract brewed at Brew Hub in Lakeland, FL
$2.59 @ ABC Fine Wine & Spirits #139, Wildwood, FL

Notes via stream of consciousness: Well they've got a great label for this one; I can only hope the beer is at least worthy. It's poured a hazy yellow gold body beneath a short head of white foam that seems to be dwindling before my eyes. There are plenty of quick rising bubbles beneath it though. The lack of head retention and lacing is to be expected but I'd imagine a beer like this should be clear. The aroma is that of "beer", just a generic beer. What else should I have expected? There's some malt in the nose, threaded through with hops which are lightly citrusy and floral, but nothing really distinctive. Perhaps the flavor will redeem it? Ahhhh... no, not really. It's exactly what it claims to be, a basic beer. It remains malty with a bit of graininess to it but I wouldn't be surprised if there was some adjunct in use, and the hops are similar to the aroma as well, present but not really specific (grassy and subtle citrusy). There's a touch of fruitiness to it as well, which actually helps to give it some depth, and a stiff bitterness that for the most part balances it although some malt does stick around a bit in the finish. The name "Emergency Drinking Beer" is probably intended tongue-in-cheek because that's exactly what it is, they're not pulling the wool over your eyes with this one. So, to finish up, in the mouth it's medium bodied and crisp. I'd recommend something like this for a fishing trip or other even where you drink a few better beers and then it just doesn't matter, but given the cost I'd have to say there are better options for that.

12 ounce can, dated 08/06/2018. Poured into shaker pint.
Golden yellow, rocky white head. Bubbles streaming up from the glass.
Crystal clear.
The nose is grainy, hay, slightly doughy.
Taste is lemon, cracker, soft floral hop, lemony finish. There is a little bit of salinity.
It’s light, crisp and drinkable. Not exciting in any way, but would do in a pinch.

Poured from 12oz can into glass. Stamped date on can bottom is '07/06/18'. Not sure if this date is best by or canned on.
Slightly cloudy, straw colored body. Pours a partial fizzy head. Ring is fed by lots of rising bubbles. No real lacing left behind.
Aroma is grain malt, with a slight addition of citrus (mostly lemon/lime).
Taste is of pilsner grain, with lemon and a very tiny bit of salinity.
Thin to medium mouth feel. Quite effervescent. Has a strong palate cleanser effect.
No strong aromas or flavors here, but the beer is refreshing and a good choice when going from one beer style to another.

Aggressive pour in a shaker.
Very pale yellow with negligible but noticeable opacity. Minimal and quickly dissipating head with virtually no lacing.
Aroma is perceptible malt with a musty end. Hops aroma pretty much non-existent.
Taste is thin. Can't find much malt or hops except in the bittering , which give is some crispness. I did get the lime others mentioned...a lime alka-seltzer came to mind, as did a weak gin & tonic.
Feel was ever-so-slightly astringent and appropriately carbed, which would make it suitable for a palate cleanser with spicy food or seafood, and especially spicy seafood.

Despite finding so little to praise about this beer on individual points (and the reference to alka-seltzer), the overall impression is surprisingly good and it'd be easy to have several in a session during the dog days of summer.

If I see it on the shelf in 8 months I'll buy it (it's a little thin for this time of year).

Pours a clear light yellow with medium head resolving to minimal lacing.
Smell is grain with some lemon citrus.
Taste is surprisingly lemon/citrus.
You can certainly taste the gose influence they were going for.

Very interesting beer in general - almost like a combination between a Gose and a Pilsener. In terms of flavor, you definitely get big hints of lime, salt, and some crackeriness; the body, however, is extremely aqueous and light. Pretty good all-purpose summer beer, and nice to have in case of emergency.

12 oz can poured into pint glass
A: carbonation, pours a crystal clear light golden body, sub one finger white foam head, light spotty lacing
S: light malt hints of pilsner malt, salt, lemon
M: light body, zesty juicy finish
T: lemon, light malt, hints of salt, semi watery but not in a bad way more so juicy with light flavor
O: good summer session brew with light flavor, cool name, I'm thinking your craft lawn mower brew
