Look- pours deep, dark, black, no head, bubbly

Smell- weak, very faint hints of yeast

Mouthfeel- nutty, dissipates immeaduately

Taste- thin, cherries, no lingering aftertaste

Overall- not the best representation of the style I've had. Somewhat tasteless and thin. (Disclaimer- I poured this beer from a can)

Poured from the tap at the Taco Mac in Atlanta, GA. The appearance is a clear reddish brown color with a thick medium sized off-white head. The aroma is full of fruit and spices. The taste is rather sweet, made up of fruit and vanilla. An outstanding beer.

This is one of my favorites. It's a bit on the heavy side, but it has a fantastic taste of preserved fruit and the appropriate aroma. It's one of a handful that keeps me devoted to Wild Heaven. I also love the new cans.

Pours a dark rust color with a light tan head. This is lighter in color than I'm used to with quads. Smells of fruit. Tastes of fruit, like peaches and maybe pears. This is sweeter than i'm used to also with a Belgium quad.

This is an interesting one. Its fairly light for a quad a little fruity and not as dark as most quads. The nose is a bit muted and I'd never guess the beer tasted so fruity. Overall not bad for a quad change up.

In a snifter the beer was a dark brown color. It had a thick, sticky tan head.

Sweet fruit aroma. Light toasted malt.

Very nice taste. Plums, raisins, peaches. Some late earthiness.

Chewy in the mouth.

Nice beer.

Little head that flattens out quick. Malty with dark fruits and a nice spice but a bit too sweet. Like most beers, it doesn't beat Ommegang (Three Philosophers) but its worth a try.

We are learning to LOVE quads! Dark Fruit, roasted malt and a touch of vanilla. Tasty but lacking in complexity IMHO. We loved this quad until we found Three Philosophers. Then this took a back seat. Still a tasty brew nonetheless.

Pours a soapy, tan head that has good persistence. Strong, sweet aroma is a bit spicy and reminiscent of raisins and dates. Nice ruby/burnt sienna color. Starts with a rich mix of sweet dates and toasted malt. The toasted characteristic builds for a bit near the finish. The finish is dates on top of toasted malt, with a faint trace of floral hops.

This isn't bad. I am not a fan of this style, usually, but the toasted malt is balanced off the sweetness really well.
