Vibe: The place is located on two levels, with the ground floor having tables and the main bar and the upstairs having mostly tables and a smaller secondary bar. There were also a couple of seats outside on the sidewalk.

Quality: Beers were served in a variety of glassware at the proper temperature.

Service: I sat at the bar and service was very prompt, despite that the bartender was also waiting tables at the time.

Selection: The place had about a dozen beers available on-tap (all of which were from Colorado breweries) and over 50 beers available in cans or bottles.

Food: I only tried two of the appetizers (Pad Thai Pig Ears and Bruléed Beef Marrow Bone) and both were extremely tasty and of exceptional presentation. I would definitely go back to this place for a full meal if I had a chance.

Ate lunch here on a Saturday afternoon.

Nice space, high ceilings and modern decor - bar and some tables on the first floor, then another bar and tables and bathrooms upstairs. Great draft and bottle list. Food was excellent - gastropub style menu with house made sausages, mustards, pickles, etc. plus small and shareable plates of some more unusual dishes

I stopped in with some friends while visiting Denver. Nice atmosphere, solid tap list, excellent food and very good service. I highly recommend the poutine. The serving size is on the small side and it's not cheap but it's fantastic!

Pretty good beer selection on draft, good selection for bottles (but pricey as expected), food tasted great (duck poutine.. mmmm). Parking was kinda tough, but that comes with the downtown location (unless you wanna park across the street in a paid parking lot). Would visit again

A solid beer program including cellar offerings. Food is typically trendy takes on savory favorites such as poutine, chicken and waffles, and charcuterie. Quality may change from day to day, and portions are small. Lunchtime doesn't require a reservation, but it's wise to have one for dinner.

Stopped in here on my trip to Denver and man am I glad I did. Incredible food--I got the duck confit poutine--and a great beer selection. But then be sure to check out their cellar list. Things like 2012 Sucaba (I was there in 2014), 2011 BA Yeti, 2011 BA Hibernation, 2011 BA Old Ruffian, 2007 Raison d’Extra, lots of Avery BA Series stuff, FW 16, etc. The prices for the food were reasonable. The prices for the beer were all over the place. Regular beer list was perfectly fine, but the cellar was really a mess. $43 for 2011 BA Yeti, $54 for 2011 BA Hibernation. OK, fine. But then $36 for La Folie Transatlantique Kriek and $43 for Dogfish Head American Beauty? I don’t get it. Anyway, definitely stop in here and if you’re looking for cellar stuff it seems to be the place to go in the area.

Party of 10 of us visited last night and unfortunately, were not too impressed. While we had read and heard the food was great and worth it though on the pricier side, we definitely did not really enjoy the chicken and waffles and were very disappointed with the small sizes of some of the entrees and apps. The poutine was good with a great, way-too-salty fries as a base and the foie gras was nice as well, but overall we felt like we were putting way too much down for too little food, and the drafts starting at $5.25 was a bit unreasonable as well. The setting was akin to a beer hall, so made for an incredibly loud night though there weren't too many other folks there, and it was a running complaint among our party as you were shouting all night only to be able to be heard by the person sitting immediately next to you. Fun look and feel, but overall unfortunately not for us.

I've been meaning to check this place out for some time because I knew it was beer oriented and I liked Rioja which is under the same ownership. The beer selection was good but nothing too crazy. The service was quite good, our waiter had a very friendly personality and checked on us several times. The food was incredible. I had the dan dan noodles with pork three ways and it was quite good. My date had the chicken and waffles and it was probably one of the best things I have tasted in at least six months, truly incredible. Prices were very reasonable given the quality and I can't wait to return. Excellent.

A group of 8 of us tried to get a table on a Thursday night around 7pm. The place was full and we were told 90 minutes wait. Well, we were starving BUT wanted to try the food here. So we said we’d go to FreshCraft for a snack and come back once they text us. Cool. The hostess was informed of our plans. Less than 30 minutes later they text saying our table was ready. Guess what. We had already ordered beer/snacks at FreshCraft. A member of our party text back informing them of what was happening and reminded them we were told we had a 90 min. wait. Long story short… after a beer and snack next-door they still had our table ready (they read their text so be nice!)

The food was killer… bone marrow, pig ear Pad Tai, blood sausage were all amazing. Best food I’ve had in Denver.

The draft selection was above average. It didn’t blow me away by any means. A nice, but pricy, selection in bottles.

Our waitress was super nice, friendly, informed and attentive. Spot-on service.

Trendy, modern décor yet lots of dark wood and dim lights. Cool vibe without being pretentious or stuffy.

Overall, the group loved this place… I did do. The food was great and having good beer was a bonus.

A brewer friend recommended this bar and restaurant, so my wife and I visited for our second dinner in Denver. A short cab ride from our hotel dropped us at the corner of Larimer & 14th; Euclid is just a half block away. A couple of umbrella-shaded tables front the sidewalk, but the day was pretty warm so we headed inside the historic building (circa 1883 formerly a private residence, social hall, brothel(?)). The interior is spacious/high-ceilinged, dark, contemporary in its mood-lighting and industrial decor. Exposed wooden floors and century-old brick walls surround the lower and upper rooms; we were seated upstairs in the far corner (quieter there), diagonally opposite the switchback stair. My wife had the 'room view' and I got to gaze contentedly toward her, glancing only occasionally out an adjacent window, across trees and rising developments towards the Rocky Mountain range and setting sun. Music was a mix of Spoon, Mumford & Sons, Phoenix, Vampire Weekend, Radiohead... 'classic rock' later, all the type of stuff we like.

We grabbed menus (tabletop) and were greeted promptly by our friendly server, Kristie, who handed over a beerlist that included a dozen plus taps (some rotating, some regulars), a list of bottles and a final page of a 20-25 'rare' cellared bottles - priced steeply/accordingly. She helped walk us through the menu, made (excellent) starter/dinner recommendations and (important to the beer lover) knew the beer taplist and bottle list very well. Loved her personality, her helpfulness/attentiveness...and willingness to share both a favorite recipe from the menu (roasted cauliflower) and humorous nickname (shall remain a secret). If I could give a score higher than 5, I would.

The nickname came up because we ordered a Great Divide beer called Big Fluffy Meow Meow (seriously) - which was good but not what either of us had in mind. I opted for Odell Lupulin IPA instead and S chose the Avery White Rascal (later she chose a Steamworks Kolsch). After dinner we had samples of the Denver Brewing Graham Cracker Porter (rum barrel version) and some generous pours of a Left Hand Milk Stout/Leopold Cherry liqueur combo (yum).

Food here was terrific! Our starters included the nutty/crunchy roasted cauliflower salad with goat cheese and pepper marmalade and the pickled green beans and hop-infused cukes. We also added the bruleed beef marrow bones, massive and savory, and a side of Kennebec Fries with delicious bacon aioli. My favorites, however were the house-made sausage and mustards - if you're sharing, get all four of them - Leberkäse, Boudin Noir, Beef Short Rib Kielbasa and a 'butcher's choice', the Pork Belly with Chinese 5 Spice. Difficult to choose a favorite, so I'll just say I loved them all (the Currywurst add-on was a good call, too).

Our tab was a pretty reasonable $60. Pints were $5.25 (although many of the aged beers in bottles had much higher price tags). Daily Happy, 'Study Hall', could have saved us a few dollars on beers. Oh well...

Overall, a great experience for food, beer and service. Would happily go back - in fact, I'll say Euclid Hall is a 'must-visit' the next time we're in Denver. Cheers!

Really cool space in downtown Denver. Easy to find and easy to find a place to sit. The food is pretty upscale eclectic. Try the pad thai pig ears! Can get loud. Worth a visit, though due to all the great locals that are carried, including several sours.

A very good restaurant with the growing movement towards local foods and brews. The food was fabulously sourced and prepared. The beer selection was very good, featuring several local and regional headliners.
The emphasis for local and sustainable with both the foods and the brews can not be overstated.

This place is popular, and expensive. Open air 2 story place that doesn't seem to make optimal use of the square footage. But hey, I'm here for beer.

Beer menu is rarely accurate, but the servers aren't as rude as some other places about ordering something they're out of. Yet, they aren't all that helpful either Selection is nice, local.

Food is nice, dessert is better. Pricey pricey.

Best to go here when there's a beer dinner, or special tappings. Don't expect to be comfortable. OR go on a week night when it's less crowded. Weekend? No go

A great eating and drinking experience in the heart of Denver.

Trendy modern gastropub decor with an engaging vibe, soft and easy during lunch, crowded and happening in the evening/late night. I can see how this may not flow for some... Borderline with the bad side of hipster stereotypes, and trendy spots... But as it comes together, with this quality, the place wins you over and works very nicely.

Quality is top notch through and through, beers and other libations are tremendous, but as one knows the place one comes maybe more so driven by the food and how the overall experience gels together.

Service was fine at all times, rather accommodating for different types of crowds and clienteles. Very attentive and detail driven as soon as they recognize a repeat face. Way to make a difference...

Rotating taps were really nice, with good local selection and always a couple of remarkable options. If anything.. was I missing some cask servings? The bottle menu is long and enticing with some nice whales. Pricey but not that pricey, or maybe it is that I'm used to DC pricey and all things considered this all seemed fairly reasonable.

Food was exquisite, earthy gourmet gastro-pub fare, if that makes sense... Great range, memorable, and a feast on the palate throughout the menu.

Home away from home during a week of work in Denver. Yes, I'm a fan... How can one feel like a regular in a few days I don't know, but the staff treatment, food quality, and beer/drinks selections plus the time spent there make this undoubtedly a must should I ever find myself in Denver again.

Rolled into Euclid Hall last night on a whim after dinner. I have been before but usually late night or over lunch so it was nice to take everything in anew. The atmosphere is nice, I really enjoy the faucet/tap sign on 14th Street. Open and airy. Crowded on a Friday night. We spoke to the hostess who directed us to a table at "the bar" which was open seating. Right after we sat down a server came by and explained we were not actually at the bar and needed to move immediately. We explained the hostess brought us to the table which clearly annoyed the young man who again demanded we vacate the seating. Ok. Meandered about 2.5 paces to the right and ordered a beer based on the giant chalkboard. Crooked Stave!? Yes please. Ordered the beer and the bartender in annoyance thrust a beer menu in my face and lectured that the chalkboard was not accurate (then why make it THE focal point of the place?). Inaccurate indeed as 70% of the beers on the board were not on the menu. While examining the beer menu the same bartender ripped it from my hands to hand to another patron. Seriously. From what I was able to gather the bottle list was good, but extremely expensive. A bomber of Dry Dock Seven Seas was $20 (retail $7). Needless to say the visit did not last long. Hoped to try food but choose to leave instead. I haven't had this experience at Euclid before but it was unsettling. Doubt I will be back as I see no reason to visit an establishment that can't direct patrons to a correct table, is rude, can't update a beer menu, with a staff with poor attitudes. It is a shame, could be a great place. I'll stick with Freshcraft, thanks.

Stopped by this place after hearing great things about it in recent media.

Euclid Hall is located in a beautiful old building in LoDo. The chef actually has three restaurants in the area but this is the newest and probably the most approachable.

You walk in and up a flight of stairs to the hostess' table. Tables are 270 degrees around you but the kitchen and bar are right in front. In fact, you can sit facing the open kitchen and watch them work.

The surroundings are industrial-chic with lots of exposed brick, pipe, ducting, and wire. Even the light bulbs (possibly the coolest bulbs I've ever seen) are exposed. It's all very hip, modern, and urban.

I was greeted at the door, shown to the bar seating area, and again greeted by the bartender. He poured me a glass of water, handed me the food and beer menus, and was, in general, pretty friendly.

The beer menu is really pretty impressive. They have twelve micros on tap (no macros in sight) and a long list of carefully selected bottles and cans. Everything from pilsners to imperial stouts, Belgian trappists to American crafts.

I asked the bartender if a certain beer was good and he offered a sample, which I appreciate. I also asked for suggestions off the food menu and he made several with insightful information.

I took his first suggestion and ordered the Euclidean cheesesteak. I figured if they named it after the restaurant, it must be good. Unlike any cheesesteak I've ever seen, it was a soft but crusty bun filled with melted Jarslberg cheese with slices of divine medium-rare steak served on top. The whole thing was on a bed of pickled peppers and onions. Delicious but one of those small-and-pretty types of dishes.

Dessert was amazing - an icecream sandwich with two sourdough waffles surrounding a salted carmel icecream with pralines. So good!

So everything was great but I do have one complaint. Actually two...

The beers were extremely over-priced. Double the shelf price plus another few bucks. For example, La Folie, which I could buy down the street for $17, was about $36 and Woodcut, which is about $25 at the store was a whopping $59. It would be hard to believe that they move much at those prices.

The second complaint comes from being a server in years past. With both dishes I ordered, the bartender never bothered to check in or ask how I was enjoying it. Now I realize he was busy but this is such a basic fundamental part of serving. Take 5 seconds to ask "is everything ok" and give me the chance to ask for a side of fries or an extra napkin. Basic but necessary.

Overall a tasty place for a special lunch and beer.

I've actually been in here several times since they opened, during busy times and slow .. so I think I've got a pretty good idea of how things are going. The place is beautiful - very nice space with a bar both upstairs and down, really took advantage of the building. The kitchen is open with a bar in front of it if you want to sit and watch them work. The food is also great - nice modern take but it still feels homey .. they are also doing a great job of using local and seasonal ingredients. The scallops with Palisade peaches is fantastic - sad that season is coming to an end, but excited to see what they do for winter offerings. Beer selection is good, and they've done a good job pairing beer with food.

Now .. the downside. The service has ranged from indifferent to aggressively bad. It is obvious that when they first opened they were way over-staffed .. instead of leading to too much service, this meant no one stepped up to claim a table. Several times we've had to flag people down. I would expect this to get better as they settle in .. if it does I'll definitely update my review accordingly. We did have an experience one night with a waitress who actually argued with us about what we had ordered. The manager was standing very close to the table and didn't chose to say anything. Even if the waitress was right .. why would you argue about it?!

The food, beer, and atmosphere are all great .. I just hope they can sort out the service. I suspect they will since the owner has been successful in so many other Denver locations.

This is the newest restaurant from well-known Denver chef Jennifer Jasinski. The theme of the place is "pub food from around the world" and I'd say it falls somewhere between casual and slightly upscale dining.
Food includes homemade sausages, poutine, schnitzels, sandwiches, and some of the best desserts I've ever had. The food is top notch, and probably some of the best I've had at a beer-centric place.
Along with the idea of pub food, there's a pretty massive beer list including roughly a dozen local and regional taps and about 25-30 bottled and canned selections. Beers include Stone IPA, Sunner Kolsch, Oud Beersel Kriek, Piraat, DPA, Del Norte Orale, Boulevard Tank 7, DFH Palo Santo Marron, Aventinus, and many others. No taps are wasted on macros either. Depending on the day, they usually have 4-5 specialty selections that aren't normally on the menu as well. For the wine drinkers, there's also a solid wine and spirits list, too. The staff knows the beers pretty well, which is a nice plus.
Prices for drinks aren't bad, and the mark up for bottles is minimal. On items like Aventinus or Piraat, you're really only paying about 20% more than the retail of a bottle. Happy hour include $3 drafts of all kinds.
While the food prices aren't exactly cheap, the quality more than justifies what you'll pay. Still, I can't imagine eating here every night, either. Think of it like you would Cheeky Monk.
For a nice beer-focused night out, Euclid is terrific. It's also a nice place to hang out and have a few drinks and an appetizer or dessert.
Highly recommended!

EDIT: A year later Euclid is still doing things right. They tweak the food menu here and there, but keep the core theme the same. The taps have stayed great, and they even offer some exclusive beers from Crabtree, Crooked Stave, and Ska, too. While a lot of places like this can go downhill quickly, Euclid has remained a favorite stop of mine.
