Pours with ample, sprightly head that's bright white. The color is a deeper gold and it is clear. The head dissipates fairly quickly. It is quite effervescent. From the instant you pour it out, you can get the familiar lacto smell of the style. Smells like a Berliner Weisse, not really getting the pear in the aroma. It is quite the tart yogurt with a touch of baked pears. The beer far outweighs the fruit. It is light, refreshing, drinkable, with a touch of fruit. This would be a great Summer beer.

Pours cloudy and smells of rich fruit. This was another great summer beer down here in smoking hot Texas. The sweet and tart flavors light up your tongue and offer a refreshing finish. Looking forward to more of these next summer.

Pours a cloudy light yellow color with a thick foamy head. Head retention and lacing are both good. Has a very tart and sour aroma. Maybe a little lactobacillus. Taste is very tart with a sweet and dry finish. You can definitely discern the prickly pear in the taste. Nice tart aftertaste. Very good beer. Impressive.

Poured aggressively into tulip from bottle born on 08-25-15 (thanks for clearly printing that on the label) with about 2 fingers head. Dissipates quickly to minimal pool of foam, after about 4 min nothing left. Smell is tart with a little lacto funk going on. Someone that isn't stopped up could probably pick up some prickly pear but I am not. Taste is puckering acidic with a nice sweet/dry finish. You get the lemonish bite on the front end and the pp sweetens it up at the end. One of the things I like about Berliner Weissbier's is they remind me of a sour candy I had when I was a kid, lick your lips and you get that residual sour. I like this beer, it is not a slammer, it is a good beer to sit around and just work it down. Great job Ranger, I hope you keep this in your rotation.
