Thick head upon pour with strong retention, hazy Amber/orange/red color, weak nose of hops, taste of hops and sweet oat grains and malts, slightly citrusy and strong oat aftertaste, smooth mouth feel.

This was my first beer that incorporated oat grains, which is somewhat hard to detect because of the balance of hops, very drinkable though.

A: 4.5 - Dunno if it's the oats, but this certainly has great head retention. Poured into a pint glass, this slightly hazy amber beer features an inch thick head, dense and persistent.
S: 4.0 - Very citrusy hops--large hop aroma.
T: 3.75 - Quite bitter flavor, followed by a load of hops, perhaps more pine-resin than citrus. It's pretty hard to taste the malt under the all the hops. The finish is very dry, with lingering bitterness.
M: 3.75 - Medium carbonation, smooth mouthfeel.
O: 3.75 - Pretty gimmicky. You can't taste anything under the load of hops they dump into this. That said, it's a decent hoppy PA.

not much nose; lovely red brown color and think head. Hoppier than I'd expect for a pale ale but with s soft roundness i suspect comes from oatmeal. Change the name, perhaps but certainly one to revisit.

Great beer! I do not like oatmeal beers usually, but this has a perfect blend of hops and oats to create a smooth beer with little bitterness. Definitely a great beer!
