Nice looking for a pils, yellow and clear with a decent head and good lacing.
Smelled very hoppy, grassy too, and the taste followed suit nicely. Truly there was a lot of hops flavor for a pilsner beer, and it was downright delicious. I wonder why all pilsners can't be as bold as this one.
It was dry and light bodied, with a lingering bitterness in the aftertaste. Very easy to drink.
Overall this was a downright delicious brew. I was able to have both the Ranger Creek and the Freetail versions, both of which were quite similar and equally delicious.

On tap at Freetail during the most recent bottle release. A collaboration between five Texas Hill Country breweries (Dodging Duck, Freetail, Blue Star, Ranger Creek and Faust Brewing). The beer was brewed at Ranger Creek and debuted during San Antonio Beer Week.
The beer pours a yellow color with a white head. The aroma is basic pilsner. I get a lot of grassy hops as well as some bready malt. The flavor is more of the same. There is a decent amount of bitterness from the grassy and earthy hops. This is balanced with some bread from the malt. Easy to drink. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.
