Has become without question the place to go for Craft Beer in Annapolis. They now have 20 rotating taps and they are very good about mixing up styles and only bringing in high quality beers. While I love the selection, the food, the service and most things about Punk's, I don't love that they did away with their Beer Flights. I love to test beers out, and when you have 20 to choose from, getting a flight to figure out where to go next is the best way. Maybe they were breaking too much? Either way, if you are a craft beer lover and in Annapolis, this is pretty much your only must go spot. Being surrounded by Baltimore and DC which are both great beer towns you would think Annapolis would play along, but that's not the case. Most places will have Loose Cannon and Fat Tire on tap to with all the BMC garbage. Sorry, just needed to rant on my hometown a bit.

Great selection of craft brew - in bottles and 10 taps. Sat at the little bar, but there is comfort everywhere in this place. Good conversations with the bartender/owner and patrons. Look forward to going back to this place. Food is the backyard grill theme and they do it very well.
But the big attraction for me to this place is the beer selection, not just the usual BMC choices. No better place in the Annapolis mall for good selection of beer than this place.
May be hard to find because it is not accessed by the inside of the mall, you must enter from th parking lot. But do not let this deter you. Go

Great atmosphere in this place. Open spacing, tropical vibe, lots of big windows. Service has always been great. Dave takes care of his customers and has done a great job steadily improving this budding establishment. Last time I was there the number of taps had increased from three to six, featuring beers from Smuttynose, Jolly Pumpkin, Stillwater, etc. Punk's also stocks a few dozen bottles for on site consumption. The food was shockingly good. I would return here for the food alone. I definitely recommend a visit to this place if you're in the area.

This place is setup like an indoor patio hence the name. They started with two taps in 12/10 and have since upgraded to 6 taps of all craft beers. In addition they have around 35 bottles depending on what's in season and in stock. They have some more obscure drafts from breweries like Jolly Pumpkin and great regional breweries like Oliver Ales and Brewer's Art. The bottle list is varied and includes lots of regional beers and then some more exotics like The Bruery and a few belgians. The owners here love beer and have already put on two well received beer dinners with plans for more events.

I'm judging the food based on what I had at a beer dinner here. The food is all fresh and made on the grill. They don't even have a fryer here which I this is great. As stated in the other review they don't have table service here so you order up at the counter and they deliver it to the table.

Go grab a beer and enjoy the indoor outdoors.

Probably one of the best beer selections in Annapolis. Six on draft with a mix of bottles including US craft beer, some macros, and some great Belgian and German beers. Though this is not a place with a bunch of rare bottles they do have a very solid selection with a few from the BA top beers list. Usually a bunch of their beers are local, dfh, evolution, stillwater, and flying dog. The best time to get a beer at Punks is during happy hour when drafts and craft bottles are only $3 with some larger format beers being priced at $5, I think.

They also do some beer education classes and the occasional beer dinner.

The only thing I don't like about the beer side of Punks is their lack of proper glassware. This may have changed as I haven't been for maybe three weeks, but you are given a chilled straight walled glass with your beer. Please get a snifter or tulip of some sort.

The food is good and well priced. It all follows the theme of something you might cook outside on a grill. Burgers, skewers, classic picnic sides, etc... The turkey burger is great.

Also one thing I have to mention is that this place is not a restaurant where you sit down and a waiter comes over. It is kind of fast causal style where you order at the register and then they bring you your beer and food. Overall it is one of the few places in Annapolis where you are guaranteed good food and beer every time.

edit: I just returned from punks and wanted to add that they now have Chimay chalices for some of the beers, good job.

another edit: They have now built a small bar, gotten more draft lines, have beer dinners, do collaboration brews with local brewers, and get a bunch of limited release beers. Only downside is that I get here no where near as often as I want to.
