The Moutere Inn is another one of New Zealand's craft beer wonders. Located off the beaten track in the Nelson region, the Moutere Inn advertises itself as NZ's oldest pub. On tap they have a broad range of beers with about 10 craft taps, a cider and a couple of macros. They also have a hand pump. The beers are all served well and the service is good. I particularly like the fact that they offer a tasting paddle and get feedback on each beer that goes into a database so they know what to order again. The pub itself is fairly basic but in a nice way that suits the area where it is located.
