Pours black with very little light coming through. Head dissipates quickly.
Big, sweet chocolate aroma.

. Pretty similar to regular Moohoo.
Tastes similar to the aroma. Basically regular moohoo with a touch of a vanilla like flavor. Sweet with medium carb and body.

So similar to regular Moohoo that I would never be able to tell the difference. I cannot believe that people are rating this highly and trading it for big beer. It seems like all these great reviews are from people below the Mason Dixon line that want to trade a beer that they are not happy with.

THIS IS A VARIANT THAT IS NOT A VARIANT. BUY REGULAR MOO HOO AND CALL IT A DAY. THEY RIPPED THE PUBLIC OFF WITH THIS AT $15 PER BOTTLE.

Pour is dark brown, opaque, tan bubbly head. Nose has a light roast. Chocolate is fairly strong present with some malt backbone. Bit of an off aroma metallic aroma and a touch green, Taste has a lot of sugar and sweetness up front, Malt and a bit of chocolate mid palate, back has that same off flavor. Carbonation is strong, not much rich malt depth, body is a hint thin and carb is a bit strong.

A: Poured into a snifter to a black beer topped by a dense two finger light tan head which retains well and fades slowly to a collar around the edge of the glass with minimal lacing
S: Smells of intense white chocolate and a little coffee with a hint of roasted malts
T: Taste is white chocolate up front with some light roasted malt flavors and a nice hint of coffee. Good sweetness from the lactose and the generous nibbing. Swallow is sweet chocolate before some dark roasted malts and more coffee comes in to slowly fade into the finish.
M: This beer has a fairly silky mouthfeel with a moderate amount of body. Not too heavy and not too light. Carbonation is just below prickly and acceptable for the style while the beer has a slightly drying finish that takes a bit to grab hold.
O: Overall this is a really nice beer with some great flavors and complexity. The white chocolate treatment comes through strong and complements the base beer well. Definitely worth a try if you like the regular one.

500ml bottle - $9.99 at Total Wine & More in Kennesaw, Georgia.

Appearance: Pours up an effectively black body with a stray, scattered, dark tan head.

Smell: Sugar and scorched cream with a scent of chocolate (though not particularly being received as white chocolate) candy, harboring notes of roasted grain and dark fruits.

Taste: Sweet, chocolaty and sufficiently roasty with an undercurrent of dark fruitiness and goodly splash of cold whole milk. Even closing my eyes and trying to tell yourself "white chocolate, white chocolate, white chocolate", I'm just not seeing it. Maybe a squirt of Monin-brand white chocolate-flavored sauce. Maybe. Candied, creamy finish.

Mouthfeel: Medium-plus body. Medium carbonation. Smooth, creamy mouthfeel.

Overall: Eh. At best, it wasn't even remotely tasting of white chocolate and it was not a particularly appealing taste at that. So, for the money, I would gladly trade for a pack of the standard-issue Moo-Hoo or Wake-n-Bake.

Appearance: very dark, nearly opaque brown. A slight cola rim when held to light. This guy is dark. A fairly slight mocha head on the pour that recedes to wispy traces.
Smell: semi-sweet cocoa. As it warms a rich vanilla emerges. Not particularly complex but a nice chocolate and vanilla nose.
Taste: much like the nose. A little drier than expected. Very tasty.
Overall: a nice treat. Not particularly mind blowing, but tasty.

Like the gentleman below, I feel that the bottle I opened last night was bad. Very thin and a large, fizz-filled head upon being poured. The color was black, but I was able to detect a good amount of light through the body. This was not what I was expecting. The nose had a metallic aroma and chocolate was very subtle in the background. While it had characteristics of Moo Hoo, it was certainly too thin and had "off" flavors. I have 2 more bottles that I need to try before commenting further.

Bottle shared by jayhawk73. Thanks Jeff.

The beer is dark brown with an inch of dense, beige head. Big chocolate and chocolate milk aroma. Not getting a ton of white chocolate, per se, as in The Bruery White Chocolate. Smooth and creamy. Mild roast character and low alcohol feel. Really easy to drink and tasty. Not as sweet as I feared, with high drinkability. Good stuff.

Poured a black body with minimal head and lace. The aroma is basically vanilla and chocolate for the white chocolate aroma. If you don't like sweet beers then aver from this beer as it is a thicker bodied yet smooth (lactic) beer that is milk/white chocolate sweet with clean finish and not much of a boozy aspect.
