Pours black with very little light coming through. Head dissipates quickly.
Big, sweet chocolate aroma.
. Pretty similar to regular Moohoo.
Tastes similar to the aroma. Basically regular moohoo with a touch of a vanilla like flavor. Sweet with medium carb and body.
So similar to regular Moohoo that I would never be able to tell the difference. I cannot believe that people are rating this highly and trading it for big beer. It seems like all these great reviews are from people below the Mason Dixon line that want to trade a beer that they are not happy with.
THIS IS A VARIANT THAT IS NOT A VARIANT. BUY REGULAR MOO HOO AND CALL IT A DAY. THEY RIPPED THE PUBLIC OFF WITH THIS AT $15 PER BOTTLE.

Solid brew for sure. Not sure that this is the same beer as this is a 2019 Terrapin reserve on the label and not even close to the bottle in the photo. Just had it a few days ago as I found it in my beer closet.

Pours out of the can a midnight black with one finger of tan head with mild retention. Smells of cocoa, vanilla, and roasty malts. Taste follows suit and doesn't disappoint with its namesake. Just wish it had a little more of a robust mouthfeel.

Poured can into shaker pint.
Look: Deep black body and dark khaki head, great color.
Nose: Cream, cocoa powder, and vanilla extract
Taste: As promised, chocolate syrup, A very creamy vanilla. A light dark roast note.
Feel is thick and creamy with some bitter roasty grit.
This is an underrated milk stout, really held my interest with each can of a six pack.

Terrapin White Chocolate Moo-Hoo has a thick, tan head and a nearly black appearance, with lots of lacing. The aroma is of chocolate and dark bread crust. The flavor is of dark-roasted malt and a slight chocolate note. Terrapin White Chocolate Moo-Hoo has a medium body and a dry finish. 6.1% for 2022. Canned. No bottles, available.

What's a normal celebration of the roastier, toastier side of the cow, Terrapin Beer sees a softer, smoother side with a white chocolate version of their famed Moo-Hoo Milk Stout.
Pouring a deep coffee-black hue and just a shade off of black, White Chocolate Moo-Hoo tops off with a dainty coffeehouse creme. And those coffeehouse comparisons only strengthen with a cappucino scent of coffee, cream, vanilla and caramel. Sweeter to taste, its those milk chocolate, vanilla, cream and sweeter coffee favors that frame an early impression of tiramisu.
As the soothing stout glides along the middle palate, its silky smooth flavors of milk chocolate, vanilla, coffee and marshmallow fluff create a creamy affogato roast that's softened with caramel and honey. As a light bitterness builds from the coffee-like roast, it extends into a light and woodsy bitterness to balance the session and to promote a tiramisu flavor even more.
Full but relaxed on the palate, the soothing nature of its white chocolate influence creates a soft fullness that's light airy and silk-like in both taste and texture. Finishing on the sweeter side of bittersweet, the beer trails into a softer affogato tiramisu flavor once more.

L: Poured from a bottle to a pint glass. Had a dark, mahogany brown color and a thick, opaque consistency. There was a quarter inch of foamy, tan-colored head that lasted a below average amount of time. So-so lacing.
S: A very good aroma of chocolate, a creamy quality, malt, and vanilla.
T: Tasted of a light hops presence (mostly in the finish; kind of faint), a good amount of the creamy quality (quite smooth), a lot of chocolate (the main attraction here), a hint of vanilla, and some malt (present throughout, though subtle). A sweet flavor that lives up to its billing. It really does tastes like white chocolate. Pretty tasty.
F: A well-carbonated beer with a super-smooth finish. Medium-bodied.
O: A solidly, likable stout. Worth a try.

Appearance - The beer poured a deep black color with mocha colored bubbles crowning the glass.
Smell - The nose was super sweet with definite chocolate notes.
Taste - The initial test was super sweet. The smooth creaminess definitely lead to the impression of white chocolate. The taste becomes more rusty in the back and less sweet.
Mouthfeel - With little carbonation, the mouthfeel came across as very smooth.
Overall - Perhaps a little too sweet for my palate, the white chocolate impression is worth checking out.

The concept for this is great, but then again, who really likes white chocolate? Not this girl. Give me dark chocolate any day. So I may be a bit biased in that regard. It's a decent stout. But a bit too sweet / cloying for me.

Rating this because it is something of a curiosity piece. The 2017 release was marketed as 8%, but my bottle says 7.6%. I'm a fan of regular Moo-Hoo and have never had any variants, so let's see what we have here.
Poured into my Beerists glass (The Beerists Podcast, blow it up people) a foamy, mocha colored head builds a little under an inch.
So much to this beer's aroma. A sweet, buttery white chocolate nose mingle with the milk chocolate-y here. Something like whipped cream blended up into cold hot chocolate. It is very unique.
The flavor thins out a bit from the nose. Kind of like whipped cream vanilla and chocolate milk. Not exactly rich or velvety. Not even cloying, more like a bit sweet and then it has no real finish.
This feels like mostly chocolate skim milk. No maltiness to back it up and the ABV is not noticeable.
Well, I can defintely say there are things I like about this beer, and things I don't. Its mouthfeel could really stand to be improved, as it is probably the most lacking thing here. But I still like it, it is still easy to finish, and a reminder that Moo-Hoo is worthwhile all on its own too.
