Pours out of the can a slightly opaque gold with a finger of head that dissipates quickly. Smells like grapefruit and a little bit of pine. Tastes similar with a lasting bitterness that is enjoyable.

Up-Hi pours a copper color with a small but long-lasting head. The aroma is earthy and bitter. The flavor is nice and bold, earthy, with good bitterness and a trace of citrus. Good body and feel. Overall, nice IPA with bold flavors and bold bitterness.

Poured into a tall clear pint glass. Appearance is a clear golden orange, with a thick, fluffy white head about a finger and a half's worth of head. Good retention and lacing.
Aroma: citrus, pineapple, orange zest and peels, peach, papaya, mango, lemon peels and zest, biscuit, a touch of pine, caramel, and floral and herbal hops.
Mainly tasting the fruity notes and zests mentioned in the aroma, pine in the background, biscuit, while tasting quite herbal. Body is medium-light.

This beer has a slightly resiny aroma, but boy does the citrus flavor come through on the palate. Quite good and I got it at a real bargain too! I'll keep an eye out for this when I want a nice, bright IPA.

The taste and feel didn't match the expectations set by the bright citrusy aroma.

Orange with a slight haze, lots of carbonation and three fingers of orange tinged white head.
Smells basically of nothing maybe some hard water and a slight fruitiness.
The taste is of caramel and slight stone fruit fruitiness. It tastes almost like an old world IPA.
Medium body with moderate carbonation nothing wrong with the feel.
I got this in North Carolina and I’m drinking in California July 21, 2020.

Clear gold, white head dissipates quickly, leaves almost nothing. Not much nose; Mild flavor, not bad. Moderately carbonated. It's not bad, but nothing special.

Look: Pale straw color with a one inch head of medium sized bubbles. Light visible carbonation.
Smell: Tangerine and other citrus.
Taste: Modesty malt sweetness with a resinous, pithy bitterness.
Feel: Feels light in the mouth. Dry and crisp finish.
Overall: It’s a pretty straight up bitter brew. Not a lot of complex things going on. Just a simple offering to the god of hops.

Initial impression from a can:
Citrusy and tangy with a hint of Simcoe's yogurty oniony character. I don't get Centennial's pine - just its generic floral character (think SuperCascade). Main hop flavour is citrus with some vague tropical fruit backing it up alongside the aforementioned. Amarillo - my favourite hop - sadly gets lost in the mix, never injecting its resinous hop flavour into the mix.
Pale malt is obvious in the malt backbone, but I don't find the caramalt (which to me is a good thing). CaraPilsner/Weyermann is present when I know to look for it, but in a blind taste test all I'd get is 2-row/pale malt.
Balanced if a bit subdued in terms of hop pungency for my tastes. Citra does dominate as the label promises, but I can't say this showcases Citra as well as the best beers in the style (e.g. Kern River's expressions thereof) nor does it harmonize with the other hops as well as Citra usually does with a hop varietal like Mosaic.
In any case, it's highly drinkable with a one-two punch of Citra citrus and Simcoe yogurt at the forefront. A beer I'd recommend to any IPA lover except those who dislike Simcoe's oniony/garlicky and yogurty expressions.
Low B- (3.30) / WORTHY
***
01/10/20 CAN:
Coating, a bit oily, medium-bodied. Citrusy and slightly oily hop profile.
Not a standout IPA by any stretch, especially considering the hops utilized, but it's drinkable and enjoyable for what it is.

The look is solid from this 12oz. can poured into a 20oz. weizen glass. There is a big puffy three finger head over an orange hued beer. I would describe the carbonation as medium light in this slightly hazy brew. After several minutes the cap settled to a thin layer with thick lacing on the side of the glass.
The aroma is the typical citrus common with this style.
The taste is bitter-sweet and not overly dry at the end, giving it more of a crisp finish.
This is an easy IPA for me to enjoy because of the sweetness that tones down the strong bitter bite.

This guy looks and smells great. A vivid semi-translucent orange/gold with a creamy, frothy head. Smells of citrus, pineapple, and pine. The taste and feel do not follow through with the expectation on the nose however. There's a backbone lacking to it that, while it makes it easier drinking, the body of the beer seems to missing. Would almost call this a session IPA if it werent for the still considerable 5.9% ABV. Overall, really enjoyable beer for those who don't like the heaviness of a typical IPA
