Appearance. Hazy orange-ish light brown. Small head, thick lace. Aroma is tropical fruit, mango, sweet potato, . Taste is sour grape, yeast, ash, apricot. Strange combination. Some tasty notes, but it doesn’t all mesh very well. Feel is watery, Low carbonation. Ok.

Pours a clear amber producing 1.75 fingers of somewhat lived, beige, finely bubbled head that leaves a wash & spidery strings of lacing. Aroma is dark malt, caramel, brown sugar, pumpernickel bread, spicy rye, alcohol & a faint hint of citrus & leafy floral hops. Taste is dark malt, brown sugar & caramel, nuts & rye spice, fresh cut pumpernickel, raisin & alcohol booziness with some citrus & earthy hops. Sweet but with an alcohol bitter finish & spice which linger in the aftertaste & become increasingly drier. The finish & for a short duration in the aftertaste are the only bitter portions of the sip. This is very strange for a 125 IBU level. Alcohol prominence is heavy even considering the ABV. Mouthfeel is heavy bodied with moderate carbonation, lightly prickly, creamy, moderately chewy but also a little syrupy & slick.

Big beer, plenty of rye, very sweet malty aspect to it, great feel to the mouth. A big beer but not outstanding. A nice try.

Poured from a 12 OZ bottle into a pint glass. The flavor was over the top and was hard to finish the beer. Would not drink again. Along with Maggie's Peach beer are the two least favorite Terrapin beers I have had.

Pours a clear orange golden color with white head. Citrus, spice, and some malty notes on the nose; follows onto the palate. Full bodied, thick, and sticky. Finishes with spice.
